These anklets or bracelets are awesome for people who do not like to spray themselves with chemicals to keep bugs away. The inserts fit well into the bracelet. Keep it off of your skin. The smell is not overbearing or atrocious unless you are inside with it. I highly recommend keeping it in a Ziploc bag while you are not using it because if you bring it inside, it will smell the whole house up of the product that is inside. You can take the insert out and wash the bracelet and reuse it. The insert is high-quality and I have not had any issues with bugs bothering me wearing it on my ankle. They did not travel up to my arms or anything to bite me. No mosquito bites anywhere on my body while I’m wearing this bracelet on my ankle. I highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin.

Mosquitoes definitely don’t like the smell.

Love this product, and they are very easy to use. Will be using them again shortly as we go to the Far East to prevent any mosquito bites, great for use in malaria or Dengue Fever areas.
