Good quality feed
Why did you choose this product over others?: I prefer this product over the others due to the herbal supplements which is supposed to discourage worms, my hens have had this brand for years and are happy and healthy, their eggs have strong shells and lovely vibrant yolks. Quality: I’ve never had an issue with the quality of the product, there’s a knack to opening the thread with one satisfying pull and it’s hit and miss whether I achieve it or not, mostly I just chop it open with scissors. Size: The size is perfect for us. We have 11 hens and one sack lasts us a couple of weeks.

Fresh and chickens love it. The fact that it is good for their gut health is a big bonus. Reasonably priced as well.

Fussy hens
My hens are fussy and do not seem to like this much. Looks good quality and comes in a strong bag too. They eat it dry some days wet another....
