My daughter(5 y.o) loves this book, we read it twice the day she got it. It’s been a very long time since I read this book (35+ years) and it brought a tear to my eye. Highly recommend.

My wife is a preschool teacher and got this book on my recommendation, having remembered it from my own childhood. It's definitely too advanced for her three year olds, ultimately, but its still a beautifully illustrated story about time and change. For older kids (like it says in the item description I ignored when I purchased it) I think it still holds up, in spite of its age.

Classic children’s book

I love this excellent book from when I was a little girl, 70 years ago. I'm collecting favorite books from my childhood. I still love the old familiar illustrations! You will love this sweet book.❤️

Telling tale about simple things being over looked, simple things forgotten as time passes what a great book, to come back to even 36 years later or more. Enjoy the book even though sad but glad. How ended very simply put straight forward what happens with many things in life.

The Little House raconte l'histoire d'une petite maison qui se retrouve encerclée par la ville agressive et bruyante. L'histoire est vraiment émouvante, l'autrice décrit les sentiments de la petite maison au fur et à mesure du temps. Un grand classique de la littérature pour enfants qui me met toujours les larmes aux yeux.
