Great Carburetor, worked right out of the box. I will share this for someone with a similar situation that I went through. I have a new (less than a year old scooter). My scooter 150cc TaoTao, started not to run when I came to a stop. The first thing I thought to do was increase the idle speed. That did not solve my problem. Eventually and gradually I could not crank the motor at all. I checked fuel flow and no problems. I checked air flow, no problem. I checked for spark, no problem. I tested everything I thought of. I came to the decision it must be the carburetor. So I bought this one. To make a long story short, the problem was that I need to readjust the valve clearance. That is what was wrong and easy to do after watching some YouTube videos. My carburetor did not need replacing but I did it anyway. I made no adjustments and this carburetor worked right out of the box. So, my opinion, this is a good carb and a good price. The only reason I have shared my experience was to maybe help someone with a similar situation. I have to say my scooter is running great with this carburetor right out of the box. So my opinion is that this is a good carburetor.

Hi, I don’t do reviews much but this one is worth it! I have a 2008 gy6 roketa super scooter with a tons of bolt on performance parts on it! It was running rich because I put a exhaust and airfilter on it with a stock carb and intake. So I ordered this and a cheap intake (Which also was good) but I bolted it on and fired it right up! Turned idle screw up a bit and she runs better then ever! It starts a lot better and it has a ton more of throttle response. The best part is that it seems like it has more acceleration and power! Would definitely buy again!

My 150cc cart would not run and I am sure the carb needed cleaning. Took the factory carb off to clean it and what do you know, the screw heads were snapped off by the manufacturer so the carb could not be serviced. Got the new carb and hooked it up right out of the box. The cart fired right up and it feels better than ever. The price of the new carb is so cheap its literally not worth pulling one apart and servicing it. New carb fixed my cart and I couldn't be happier.

Installed right out of the box and started right up as soon as some fuel built upin the bowl. Sounds great, and even feels like it's pushing a little more horsepower than the original carb. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the processing of the order was a pain and took 3 days to complete.

tried 5 different carbs amazon sells. this one works the best. buy a set of jets and put a 110 main and a 35 pilot and tune for them at sea level.

NOTE: I installed this on my Hammerhead GTS 150 platinum and it did not work out of the box. The manufacturer has poor quality control. We had to drill out the bowl vent passage on inlet. It is the inlet that has the short vent tube that does not connect to anything. It comes out into the float bowl. IT was not drilled through from the manufacturer. It took hours to figure this out. We compared to the stock carb and found that the passage was blocked. After drilling it out the motor ran like brand new. Frustrating after spending hours and hours trying to figure this out.

I have a 2014 Taotao EVO150 and wanted to give my carburetor a refresh, but I found this for about $20 and thought, "I'll try it out and if it works, then I'll have 2 carbs. If it doesn't then I'll send it back." I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. It fit exactly in place of my OEM. I eliminated the air box and mounted a filter directly to the inlet side. There was definitely a noticeable difference in throttle response, noise, and overall power. I literally bolted it on, turned the engine over to fill the bowl with gas and it fired up. I just had to adjust the idle down a bit. I was shocked at how good it ran right out of the box.

I think it's definitely easier and more cost effective to replace the whole carb and rebuild the old one since replace is reasonable priced. Replaced old carb right this one and started right up. No adjustments needed when I installed mind.

Had a hard time with the old carb. Wouldn’t idle nice. Gas and air ratio all messed up. No time to open and fix it up. Installed this one and VOILA. Started right up and purrrrrs on idle. Thank you. Best 40$ ever spent!!

Carburetor was exact replacement and works perfectly. Worth every penny.

This was the 3rd new carb I've put on the quad and this one finally seems to be good. Price was good and finally the quad is reliable.
