D'Addario XPND 1 Pedalboard

Q: Will power supplies fit underneath? If so, which ones will fit or what dimensions?

The small XPND does not provide enough clearance for a traditional power supply ( in my case, Voodoo Labs Pedal Plus2) . I loved the board, very well made, great design, but had to send it back. Some of the micro power supply's would fit no problem.

Q: How much space does xpnd 1 have underneath for the power supply?

2.57 inches (including the feet) at it's highest point so a little over 2 inches.

Q: What's the point of it expanding. I leave all my pedals attached, are you supposed to remove your pedals to get to every gig? I don't see the point...

I would say the point is that you don’t need a different pedalboard if you want to change your layout. It can stay in position as long as you need it to, but if you want to add a pedal or remove one you can adjust as necessary. I use this as my experimental board so it’s always back and forth for what length I need to use.

Q: How does this riser attach to my pedalboard?

By using velcro on the base outline, the riser is not heavy per se.... but it is still sturdy.

Great if you’re not sure how many pedals you will add in the future

As it’s expandable it can be used as a compact pedalboard for a small gig and if needed it can be expanded. Which can hold double the amount of pedals. Extremely versatile
