LCD Display Color Screen Fits for Ford 2014-2016 Escape 2013-2016 Focus 150 MPH Speedometer Instrument Replaces LQ042T5DZ11 LQ042T5DZ13A

Both the radio and the dash screen were going out on our Focus. This works for both screens.... but. There are a few good videos on how to replace both screens. If you are replacing the radio screen this is a direct replacement. The metal case the screen comes in, is the same screen case as the radio screen. If you are using this to replace the dash screen. You will need to take the screen out of the metal case and use the metal case from your old screen. The dash screen has some metal tabs on the side that this case does not have. The metal case that hold the screen is very easy to pop apart, it just held together with a few tabs that are easily separated.

I think the only notable different from the original is this it has a smooth screen not matte like the original. But it worked immediately. I was concerned my actual milage wouldn't show but it did immediately. Literally plug and play, it was a huge relief. It's very clear and bright and worth the price.

This replacement unit was a direct fit. It took longer to take it out of the dashboard than it was to install it

This will save you a TON of money. It works great and wasn’t a hard install at all, HOWEVER, for a 2013 Focus my faulty LCD screen had a mount that automatically positioned it correctly and held it in place properly, this LCD screen does not. I’m not a mechanic, so idk if it’s something that you can transfer over or not, I did look at taking the old one apart but didn’t bother trying to attempt it. Instead I just found something sticky that could hold it in place without blocking the vision. Doing this made my install time significantly longer and harder then it needed to be. Other than that, it would get 5 stars, but this might also be my fault because I purchased this without knowing what my old one looked like.

UTube has a couple of very good looks at dsassembly and installation. But connectors in the dash are in a very dark place, so hard to photograph and feel confident you’re not going to snap something. With partience and good lighting, it’s all good.

This replacement LCD screen has been working perfectly in my 2013 Ford Focus for over a year now with no issues. The display has been a great replacement for my old broken screen. The only challenge I faced during installation was that the metal casing around the new screen was slightly different from the original in my Focus. To solve this, I very carefully pried off the metal casing from my old screen and swapped it with the new one. This simple fix took me about 10 minutes and worked perfectly. Overall, replacing the screen was super easy. I’m not very experienced with car repairs, but with a few basic tools and following a YouTube tutorial, I was able to do it myself without any trouble. If you're considering this replacement screen, I highly recommend it, just be aware that you might need to make a minor adjustment depending on your vehicle.
