Products are sold based on weight, not volume. Products settle. That being said, the bottle should be pretty full. If not, then weigh it. The flavor is good. Granulated. It is fine granules, but it is granulated. Some may think it is powder-like, but it is fine granules. Really makes no difference to me in pretty much every single application. We go through a lot of onion powder/granules/diced, and this is a good size container that should carry us over for awhile. I either use directly from container, or I fill up a smaller container for extra easy grab. I use spices all the time, all manner of types, and onion is nearly always included in whatever I am cooking. I adore onion powder sprinkled over burgers even if I am using slices of onion. Something about the taste of onion powder just makes it extra delicious. I like McCormick products, and find most of their stuff reasonably priced. When it comes to some basics such as this, I tend to let price dictate my purchase decision so long as the brand is one I trust. McCormick isgood balance of quality and price.

Best Onion Powder available. It isn't dust; it's small granules. They grind up dry onion skins. However, this product is made from ground-up, dehydrated onion. It still has all the flavor. It isn't made of dried-up, worthless outer onion skins. If onion powder is just a fine white dust. That's junk. This is good stuff.

Bought multiple times... I go thru it so fast... Use it in just about everything... great price and easy to use. Gives food a great flavor...

Great product.

One gets a decent amount of ground onions in this product. I keep it with other spices, so it's easy to toss into aa stew or soup. I gave this product four stars because once it's opened - and I am only reviewing the bottle/canister that I bought - the llid collects ground onion around its threads and so the container won't close. This relates to freshness, of course, and taste -- one receives quite a lot of product, so Thea ir will get into the entire thing. I'll either have to use painters' tape to keep llid closed or transfer the entire thing into another jr. Not what one wants from a first-rate, world-class corporation. Product development department (or packaging?) please take note. This is a design-induced error, in my opinion as a home cook. Otherwise, good amount and good price and value.
