Worked as expected. Follow the instructions for the BIOS and viola, the boot process starts. I wish in the title of the product, mentioned "no product key" and not a few lines down the description. But the cost, speedy delivery - and luckily I so happened to have a product key after the fact, I would recommend.

Easy to use but did not work for me. Computer is missing a boot file. This disk was suppose to have it on it. I have tried several times to get tech help but have never been able to. Installs easy. Took several days to receive.

I did step by step like the see through instructions said and only on my 1st try I got to a screen asking to put in a 4 digit code to verify that I wanted to run this disc that also had a website link to click on but no mouse cursor around. First of all, what is the point of the code? Because it made it impossible to do anything, even the code. I put the code in but all it did was restart the computer and back to where I started. I never seen any update, install, restore, repair, installation, or anything but the 4 digit code and ESC to escape. After it failed I tried over and over trying to get it to show back up but had zero luck. Apparently you only get one use only. Very disappointed again having to put another computer in the shop paying hundreds of dollars to fix it. $15 well wasted that I could of used on taking it in. I mean come on, I'm sure everyone seen the blue screens before but show no pictures of the first screen and what to do to get past it and only one chance to use the disc. Very annoying especially when restarting a computer over and over. Just wish the disc was straight to the point instead of being very difficult to try to get started.

Something went wrong with the huge "Anniversary" update on Windows 10, and even after trying all Windows' many internal tools and about 20 re-boots, I couldn't get rid of an "Unknown Hard Error" message, and couldn't use my PC. I changed my CD drive to be the primary boot source, then ran this CD. It took some experimentation, but on about the fourth or fifth try, it started to repair the internal Windows system files. After about three hours, Windows 10 was functioning like a new install. All my drivers appear to have been left OK, and my data files are intact, but I lost the programs I had installed, including Microsoft Office, which I had purchased. Given enough time, I could probably install it from the subfolders holding old system files - but for today, I've spent enough time on this. I would buy this again, I guess, or I might spend $100 on a new Windows 10 license.

This disk was a true system saver. I had tried everything in the book to recover my computer. Still nothing worked until I ran across this disk that appeared to have the solutions to my problems. I was skeptical about it but was desperate, I place it in and found this disk quite easy to use walks you through the steps and finally eureka my system was recovered. I had to reinstall a few items but that's not a problem considering nothing worked before the disc I would highly recommend this recue disk to anyone who is experiencing the dreadful blue screen.

Not sure why but it did not work for me, had to call a repair company in and they fixed it

A week ago I downloaded Ubuntu onto my laptop to be dual boot with Windows 10. I tried to delete Ubuntu from the partition without removing the Ubuntu boot, because I didn't know what I was doing. What happened was my computer was trying to access Ubuntu, because it still had the boot but didn't have the OS. This prevented me from accessing Windows 10. I tried downloading Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft website on to a USB drive and re-install Windows 10 that way, but it didn't work. I got frustrated and thought about just buying a new computer, but that would cost me a few hundred bucks. Instead, I searched Amazon for Windows 10 boot CDs and bought this one for 13 bucks. The re-installation process took about 3.5 hours total. The longest process was when it says "Getting Ready" with the spinning icon, and it took about 3 hours. You have too look at the hard drive LED indicator. If it's blinking or turned on, then that means the hard drive is adding / deleting stuff. So don't turn off your computer. If it take longer than 4 hours, then there might be issues. I can access my old programs in the C drive (e.g. games and software that I installed previously), but everything on the Desktop (resumes, Word/Excel documents, pictures) was wiped out.

This product saved my computer. I had a my desktop for the past 4 years or so and I upgraded to windows 10 awhile ago and recently my computer crashed on me and it just kept looping and it wouldn't allow me to wipe my drive. Inserted this disc and booted it from the disc after I changed to boot from disc in BIOs settings. I had to hit the alt F10 key when starting up to prompt the installation but after that I installed it on my old C drive and it even kept my old files. Saved me from buying a new computer.
