Works great out of the box
My original remote started acting up, so I purchased this replacement. Popped in a battery (NOTE - a battery is not included, so be sure you have one at the ready), and it works just as well, if not better, than the original.

A great replacement!
Works great! No setup or syncing needed. Just press the power on button and you're good to go. Battery is not included and make sure your sound system is compatible with this remote and you shouldn't have any problems.

The controller does the job very well. Make sure to look at the posted video on how to change the batteries though. The plastic that is built with is very hard and low quality so be CAREFUL with it. Also it’s very small and black, so if you lose it good luck trying to find it😂 sometimes it’s even in the most obvious spot…

Great value, but you need a battery
Doesn't come with a battery. Site says a CR2025 but remote has written on it CR2032Once you figure out how to open the battery compartment and put one it it works immediately.Much better value than a genuine Bose remote at 5X the cost.

Didn't think finding a replacement would be that easy, having bought the Cinemate 2 in 2009!Plug and play (CR2025) battery and.. That's it!Volume, power and mute like the original.Has a good range and works well.
