Does the hdmi adapter fits a rack plate slot (not a wall plate)? the dimensions are different from your rj45 which is intended to a rack plate slot .

I have used these in both wall plates and rack plates. They work fine. Just a note though... If you take them out of the rack one time they will not stay in when you try to put them in a second time. A new one will need to be used for re-insertion I have purchased several different brands and they all seem to do that.

Can I use the HDMI adapter on rack plate, similar to your Rj45 adapter? Comparing dimensions from both they seem to be slightly different
