wonder whether it is a compost maker or just dry coco peat. As far as i know the cocopeat must be moist to keep the bacteria alive. what i received is just dry cocopeat powder.

I used to use a compost making kit, which is a little labour intensive and also the compost smells a bit. I thought of trying something different and I started using the Daily Dump Compost Maker a few months ago and find it very easy to use. We consume a lot of vegetables and fruit every day and have quite a lot of organic waste. I bought a few regular plastic buckets with lids and every day I add the waste to the bucket and add a couple of handfuls of the Daily Dump compost maker and keep it tightly closed. Absolutely no smell and it decomposes quite fast without a fuss! When the bucket is full, I keep it aside for a month and it’s ready for use in the garden! I found it decomposes faster when I chop the orange and lime peels into small pieces and crush the egg shells. And I mix the compost maker in nicely and then cover it with another handful of compost maker on the top. There’s no smell at all! In the last few months, I have generated more than 10 buckets of perfect compost and even gifted it to several of my gardening friends! Thanks so much for this wonderful product.
