Works great
This Bluetooth wireless barcode scanner was easy to setup and use. It is sturdy, compact and not bulky. Scans great. The instructions booklet makes it easy to setup and know how to use it. I’m happy with my purchase.

Perfectly Adequate
I've been using this for a few months in our materials room and it has been perfectly adequate. What I mean by this is that it does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Do I expect it to last forever? No. Did I expect it to be super fancy? No. Are there better units out there? Of course. But for under $40 one has to have realistic expectations, and this has been a good value. We will probably order a few more, and an extra for when one breaks, because they will eventually.

Decent for price, expected better
Works well for reading most barcodes. Toyota Dealer tech here, and we need to scan the vin number plates on the door frame for current recalls. This has issues reading those barcodes, but works great at barcodes from replacement airbag components which need to be scanned to perform repairs. QR code reading as well as regular barcode is accurate, but wont always be read. Bluetooth works well once programmed to devices. Have used it on a Samsung S22 Ultra AND iPhone 14 Pro Max with similar results on either device. Having the double tap setting to turn on and off the keyboard are ESSENTIAL to making this work quickly and efficiently because lets be honest, recall and warranty work don't pay for ****...

Recommended if it reads the symbologies you need
This review is for the 2D Wireless Barcode Scanner, SymCode 2.4G CCD with Long Transfer Distance for Mobile Payment. Be aware that this listing is for several different styles of barcode reader, and make sure that the reviews you base your purchasing decision on are for the correct model. This is an very good value in a 2D barcode reader, though a bit limited in symbologies. It can be used in both wireless and wired mode, and both worked effortlessly with no computer setup on Windows 10. When used in wired mode, the battery charges, and a charge indicator turns off when it is fully charged. In wireless mode, it can go into a sleep mode after a configurable period of time in order to save energy. Volume is configurable with several different levels from mute to full volume. The email support I received was excellent, with average query turnaround of less than one day. I tested the following symbologies: SUPPORTED Code39 (no checksum) - Yes Code93 - Yes Code128 - Yes PDF417- Yes DataMatrix - Yes QR Code - Yes NOT SUPPORTED Code39 (with checksum) - Reads the checksum as an extra character; this cannot be changed. Code38 (Full Ascii) - Reads with some incorrect characters. Interleaved 2 of 5 - No read Truncated PDF417 - No read MicroPDF417 - No read I am told by another user who purchased a different model of Symcode barcode reader that their model successfully reads Truncated PDF417, so if this model doesn't meet your needs, it's possible that one of the others in this listing will.

Very durable
I got this has a gift to give my cousin for her business and she loves it she said it’s easy to use and she loves the fact that she didn’t had to have a lot of cord lying around the store plus it’s Bluetooth and it’s easily connected to her laptop
