Excellent for learning Arabic. Very detailed. A bit more focus on writing rather than speaking but very good.

I’ve successfully taught myself a few languages before, another Semitic language being one of them - I can say that this book is definitely not suitable for self-teaching. Given audio materials are not sufficient for that, a lot of printed material (e.g. word forms and reading exercises) is given before it is explained in the next unit or so, which I found confusing. Also, a few exercises explicitly encourage students to practice in groups. So, this textbook may be much more useful if a teacher guides you through it, but if you consider learning by yourself - it should probably be some other textbook.

I have only recently received the book, and my impression so far is very good. If you’re interested in learning the language, this is an encouraging and more than informative place to learn it! And very practical.

Very good book, excellent for getting a expedited grasp on the language, culture etc. I would recommend it.

I really liked the material and methodology. Excellent printing quality too.

Could really use an editor. I'm only at the beginning and have already encountered a full paragraph that repeated itself verbatim (pg46) After explaining the letters, they then mixed up the symbol for t and th. As a total beginner who is reading the explanations carefully running into errors just makes it all the more confusing. Can't recommend this book.
