We bought a house with 33 windows. That means a lot of investment in window coverings. We worked with a local designer to add high-end wireless motorized blinds to the whole house. A name brand that looked terrific. It was expensive but we felt worth it. When we realized the blinds didn't get the rooms dark enough I started browsing Amazon for a solution and I found Graywind motorized blackout shades. The site took me through exactly how to measure for shades that would mount outside the window frames (and over the blinds). They reviewed my plan and gave me great help on how to make it better. The motorized shades came quickly and were easy to install. They are covering high-end, designer made motorized blinds and they look every bit as good as the blinds and work as smoothly and reliably. What a find. If you want to have a designer look for your windows without the extreme expense and long wait I highly recommend Graywind. The products are solid, reliable and beautiful and the customer support is world-class.

I hesitated on getting this item, it's kind of pricey, but I wanted something. I am so pleased with my selection. The cut was a perfect fit. It functions great, even has an app for your phone. I elected to solar panel to charge and so far everything has functioned perfectly. Great product would recommend Dennis G. Up-date 7/11/24, I had an issue and the entire shade fell 10' to the floor, one end cap broke. I contacted seller, they sent me out replacement parts in less than a week. - That's what I call a company that responds to their customer, I even told them the fall was not a defect, and they still didn't charge me for the parts! Shipping time was much quicker than promised! Took about 10 days. Roller shade is awesome & works just as expected! I followed all the steps when I was ordering & it worked out great! I highly recommend this! I will be ordering again for another window. Great quality & color was as I thought.

I ordered an 80"X60" motorized blind including the valance, new zf battery motor (zf31), & remote (nz16). Delivery of the product was faster than expected by over a week. It will be sent from China directly to your address, so don't expect overnight delivery! The shades were very easy to install (I suggest buying better anchors if you are mounting to the wall as the ones provided seem way to light weight). The pairing with the Alexa Echo Plus 2nd Generation was super easy, litterally taking seconds. Pay attention to the "pairing mode" directions for your specific motor, and make sure you have the right Echo product (that was a bit tricky to figure out as 1st and 2nd Generations look alike. Once paired I was able to set up Routines in Alexa to control the blinds by voice. Will aboslutey buy more shades from Graywind. Have my measuring tape out already! So, it's been four months or so since buying the Greywind shades and I'm still very happy with the products. Have since bought another shade for a different room and love it. That said, the only draw back that I've discovered is that the 16-Channel remote doesn't work more than one shade at a time. Yep, surprisingly, it only works on one shade. This hasn't been an issue since each shade (3) has been in separate rooms. Now I'm wanting to add two additional electronic shades to one room. I don't want to have more than one remote and have to deal with keeping up with them, etc., so I'll have to contact Greywind to find out what their options are. Hoping they have a way to address this.

We have three small windows in a hard to reach area that we've been trying to figure out what to do with for blinds for a while. When we decided on motorized blinds we had a local blind company come out and quote us over $2000. I was skeptical of anything online but for the price difference gave these a shot. These have worked out great. The custom order process is slick and though they're drop shipped from China, made it here quickly. Installation is super easy and if you're using the included remote for a single blind everything is already setup. Things get a tricky when trying to setup multiple blinds to one remote (I do not have the Alexa enabled blinds so do not know how tough that is) The instructions leave a bit to be desired, hence the 4 stars, but after about 45 minutes of tinkering I got everything setup the way I wanted.

The installation was a little frustrating, but what isn't? The blinds are beautiful and work so smooth, we love them and will be ordering more!

So I have had these now for 4 years. Had some ups and downs, the product i first got has a lot of issues, that said it was the old version motors. They sent me all new motors for my 8 blinds, i just swapped 3 and wow what a difference. So all the new version come with this new motor, and I gota say 5 stars. However, the new motors are supposed to work with smartthings or zigbee controller, so far they paired but the controls wont work. I will reach back out to their amazing support to hopefully resolve.
