Easy enough to replace on your own and far cheaper than a new dishwasher.
Amazing difference from the failing motor that finally died and this replacement. It's night and day difference. This runs so much quieter I can't tell it's running from my bedroom or office anymore. The original motor started getting louder about 15 months ago but still did it's job, just louder. I checked to make sure there was no foreign materials or debris inside and it was clear so the motor going out was the suspected issue. Surprisingly it made it another 14 months before giving up. Installation was rather simple once the dishwasher was disconnected from power, water and drainage and out of the cabinet space. I laid it on its back and there were just 2 screws for the retainer bracket and 1 power connection to remove the old motor. I lubed up the new one with some rinse agent and push it securely in place replacing the bracket and power. I turned the tub upright again and partially filled some some into the tub and checked for leaks and pushed in back in place and reconnected everything and it started right up at maybe 20% of the noise it was an hour before. Very happy with the replacement and the ease of access to do this myself over paying a few hundred to repair or a little more to replace it. Hope I get another 11 years out of it.

Perfect fit for my frigidaire gallery
very fast shipping !! ordered it one day, and it was on my doorstep the next. It came with two new 0-rings, and instruction on how to install. it was so easy. I turned off the power and water, turned the dishwasher on its face, and then t00k off the 2 bolts and wire plug that held the old one in place.. took off the old motor (just pulled right out with a little tug and wiggle), clean the hole, and put in the new after greasing the new one with just a little dish soap. reattached the screws and wire plug. turned the dishwasher back upright and turned back on the water and elec., and pushed the start button. took all of 20 mins to change( that's with me going slow because I know nothing about dishwashers or maintenance). Best of all-NO MORE LOUD WHINNING SOUNDs coming from my kitchen. Also it, once again, works like a brand new Frigidaire gallery dishwasher.

Nice and quiet dishwasher again.
Well after waiting 6 days for this motor to ship (which I still don't understand) I had to write customer support about the delay, and they were really good about fixing the shipping problem. Received it today and got it installed (thanks YouTubers). Very easy to replace. Started up the dishwasher and it works like a new one, nice and quiet. The old one was only three years old, and started making a terrible noise. When I took it out I noticed soap residue all around the inside near the motor. I'm pretty sure this was caused by using too much dishwasher detergent, so we are cutting back (in half actually) on the amount of detergent we are going to use from now on. Don't wanna have to replace this too many times, it's expensive, AND ordering it from Amazon apparently will take a LONG time to ship it to you.

Happy to Have Found Replacement!
I only actually needed the fake-garbage-disposal plastic endcap housing & blade (so is on the expensive side for what it is), but new motor works great. These only a few yr old machines now have very few moving parts & minimal electronics; With very little research are cake to repair

Fantastic replacement, works great, mine came with o-rings
I noticed after I purchased this that some folks mention theirs didn't come with the o-rings. Maybe it depends on who you get it from? Mine came from Amazon directly and it came with the two o-rings necessary to do the swap out. My dishwasher is a Kenmore 587.15262900 and I believe the OEM replacement is # 154859201 but I was able to confirm that this was a new replacement for that part. Everything fit perfectly, no re-wiring necessary, it was a drop-in replacement. Much quieter and better wash than my old one, very happy with this. The price was decent too.

Great part, easy fix.
Great timing - our dishwasher (Frigidaire) broke down Christmas day. The day after, after driving 15 miles across town to a store who's online page said they had this part in stock, I arrived only to discover that I would have to wait for it to be delivered. They lied. After I complained the clerk told me I should be nicer around Christmas, which I thought I was, but I took note and was nice enough to leave without buying anything and I went home and ordered this here. I wonder how long her job and her company will last, as it's name rhymes with Tears. Here's the deal. Mine arrived a day SOONER than promised. It's somewhere between a 10 minute and 30 minute job depending on how handy you are and how much crap you have stored under your sink. Steps: 1- Go to your panel and switch off the breaker that controls your dishwasher 2- Pull all the junk out from under your sink and turn off the water supply to the dishwasher, and empty the dishwasher 3- Remove the kick panel under the dishwasher (2 screws) 5- Open the little power box on the bottom right of the dishwasher and disconnect the three wires (black, white, and green) 6- Remove the two screws at the top of the dishwasher which connect it to the counter top 7- slide the dishwasher forward far enough (8-12 inches) to disconnect the water line into the dishwasher (lefty loosie) 8- Disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the disposal 9- Carefully drag the dishwasher out from the cabinets, roll it onto it's back, and clean up any water spilled on the floor 10- Look for the motor and disconnect the power supply. It has an idiot proof connector so just squeeze and pull. 11- With a torx bit, two screws holding in the retaining bracket, then remove the metal bracket holding in the old motor 12- Slide the old motor out, and do a final comparison to the new one going in. If it's the same, proceed. If it's different apologize to your husband for telling him you had it all figured out, slide the dishwasher back into the cabinet, reconnect the drain hose to the disposal so it doesn't leak all over the place, and tell your hubby to make due until the right part arrives as you send this one back. 13- Use some liquid dish soap to clean out the housing for the motor, and to lube the two new O rings that need to go on the new motor. 14- Stick the new motor in the housing (gently so as not to disturb the O rings), and when it is fully seated, re-install the retaining bracket 15- Follow steps 12-1 backwards. 16- Test it out, then make your hubby take you out to dinner for fixing the machine and saving the cost of a new one 17- If you swore anywhere along the way you probably owe him makeup sex. I have only been using this new part for a day. I will try to remember to re-post in a while to report on the durability of the motor.

works great
exact fit for my ten year old dishwasher. installs easy. dishwasher working waaay mo better now. after the installation, the lower door gasket died of old age. ordered one and it was a bit different than the old one but was able to fit it and make it work. all in all, happy, but the process was time consuming and not easy for a 70 year old to writhe about the floor like a reptile. for $300 more bucks i should have bought a new dishwasher and installed that in one pass.

BIG Difference. Waited too long
Sometimes u just used to the noise or delay for nite run. Upon inspection my circulation Motor was completely seized. Found this one about 60 cheaper than rest incl o rings. Just had to wait longer....easy install.....noise decrease dramatic....all I can hear is the wash. Best money spent.. washer like new now.

Item does not match picture or old motor, but works.
The replacement motor doesn't look anything like the old one. It fits and works well though. Not sure why they still have the old pictures displayed.
