It works
Replaced my 1976 trailer tongue with this one. Not as sturdy, but definitely gets the job done. I've since loaded and unloaded my trailer several times for a move, and it has worked just fine.

it fit right in place of the old one. the okd tongue had to be welded off. I then tapped 4 holes (2 in each size) and attached it with hardened hardware with lock washers . I installed two additional bolts through predrilled holes from the top. Transfered the tongue jack to complete the installation. Cleaned up mess and put away tools. Did I mention that I preformed this while the trailb
