What is the thinnest slice in inches & mm? I want to make oven baked potato chips.

Can you slice zucchini lengthwise with this?

Hello, You can cut a zucchini lengthwise. You can use either the food safety holder or use your hands with included gloves to run it over the blade. Both work well, but we definitely recommend using your free gloves if you won’t use the food safety holder. Aryz Gramercy Kitchen Co.

Can you adjust the slice thickness?

Hi, Blade is permanent but the blade dial allows you to change thicknesses. For slices, it adjusts to any thickness from paper thin to 9mm, for julienne size, it is fixed at 4.5mm and 9mm. Aryz Gramercy Kitchen Co.

If the blade is permanent, how does it change for waffle fries or julienne or french fries?

You can make waffle fries or chips but not regular "handcut" fries. I have only used this once to slice potatoes & onions for au gratin potatoes. Found the thingie that secures the potatoes awkward to use. Did not stay "on track".

Blades not sharp enough for a smooth cut

The blades aren't as sharp as it needs to be to ensure smooth cutting operations. Also it leaves our a significant bit towards the end that there is no way of cutting. Creates either a lot of waste or makes it time consuming the cut the last bit or dangerous of you try to do it by hand without the guide.
