Chip works fine in my circuit
Ended up just using the chip in a circuit board of my design with better THD specs. Got THD down to 0.8%. This chip is only made as an offshore copy, and this one worked fine

Nice generator little noisy making the scope jump every now and then.
Went together pretty easy. Tried to put it together fast but I didn't like the way the tags on the solder joints look but I have another to assemble for a later date. Real easy to dial in. 50hz holds pretty well and with the low end dialed in the upper end reaches 5.2khz. One thing i did notice is that the scope will jump every now and then where this didn't happen to the other generator i built yesterday. I'm thinking one of the caps may be junk. Anywho its giving me soldering time and another excuse to buy a new station. It works and I like it...

fun, but no stable output
The media could not be loaded. only useful as a solder practicing kit. frequency generated is extremely unstable, and it is near impossible to tune it in. the positions of adjustment potentiometers in circuit (course and fine in parallel) is a bit suspicious, maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm not going to spend time troubleshooting it.

Easy to build and works great
This kit was easy to build and it works great. The components were of good quality and their solderability was good. It works as advertised. I used a 14 pin IC socket was the only addition that I made to this kit project. This would allow for easy IC change if needed. The only problem was that one of the three pin screw connectors was missing. Since they both worked, it was not worth my time to try to get the three pin connector.

My First Signal Generator
Nifty little kit, fun to build and it puts out pretty decent waveforms. The circuit board is clearly marked, showing where to solder each component. This one isn't hard to build for beginners.

great kit
There were no instructions, but the PCB is clearly labelled and the components match the labels. If you've assembled electronic kits before you should have no problems. The circuit worked perfectly the first time. The shipping was ridiculously fast too!

Works as described, very easy to assemble.
First board did not work, but the next did and it has to be something that I did wrong. Will try to diagnose it later. This thing works as described. will order two more of these.
