Do I honestly need stabilizer when embroidering?

Any embroidery projects need a stabilizer. It is the foundation that determines success or failure of every machine embroidery project. Stabilizer is actually a backing hero for a good embroidery project but is seemingly invisible to some embroidery beginners.

Does this stick on to the fabric while you embroider?

They are not sticky stabilizer with adhesive backing. Simply place it under the fabric to be embroidered, then hoop them together. If you want them to be stick, you can use temporary spray adhesive.

Will this stabilizer work with a Brothers ns1750d model

I don't know that machine, but I have 3 Viking machines and it works with all of them. It's just a fiber cut away stabilizer of medium weight...so it should work with any embroidery or sewing machine. However, realize it is cut to size, so it just fits a 120x120 hoop and I have to tape the sides to secure it since it just barely reaches. So you won't be able to use this on a larger hoop. But for quick small jobs, it's easy to just grab and hoop without dealing with size cutting. I keep this on hand all the time since 2015.
