I would assemble these numbers if someone paid me to. They’re fun to do!! For my daughters birthday I made a 1 myself (like from scratch) from poster board and people I know paid me to make them 1’s too. I also made a 2 for my kid turning 2 and then dropped the ball a couple years and started to do the 5 and got lazy so went on Amazon and saw these for slightly more than I wanted to pay but worth not having to measure and use my brain on such short notice (lol) I ordered the number 5 and it arrived the next day. I opened it up and looked at it and figured it out before looking at the instructions. It’s pretty straight forward if you have that sort of Tetris brain. I could see how it might frustrate a couple of my friends though. I also am pretty handy with a hot glue gun since I use it frequently but if you don’t have any arts and craft skills you may outsource the assembly lol I didn’t put the balloons inside it because I like how the white number looks without any but it comes with little two sided circles to stick them in if you decide to. Not sure they would hold on in a windy situation but you could use some other glue or tape probably. Short story long - the details you care about: It comes folded up in a box probably about 12”x16” and a couple inches deep. The parts are numbered so you can match them up. You lay it out and see how it’ll go before you start gluing. Glue the back flat/straight first and then the other straight parts like sides or whatever (it’ll make sense when you do it). Then start gluing the rest of the sides. I did the parts without the scored sides first to be sure I bent the scored bits right but then once I got to those parts realized I didn’t have to be so cautious with it and bent it at each scored line for the whole curved part before starting to glue the piece and it made it much easier. Then it comes with a roll of white (looks like the skinniest roll of white duct tape you’ve ever seen) tape that you can use for the front edge of the foam board. I used it for that and also to cover any little gaps light was shining through from the back since I wasn’t filling it with balloons. A lot on the roll. Everything feels nice and sturdy. Stands up on its own (it would blow over if not secured against something). Height is what was advertised. My daughter loved having it for her birthday. I would recommend and will get another next year!

I purchased these for my 40th birthday decor. Assembly required but it's pretty easy with a hot glue gun. I'm no professional decorator so I just did what I could with the balloons, added some flowers and sparkling garland to cover some of the white spaces since I didn't use small balloons. Loved it. Made it weeks on advance and it held up fine. Would purchase again. 12 months later, this is still holding up, minus the balloons. Saving it for my husband's 40th next year.

Very impressive & eye catching party decor that I will use for my balloon business! Did a practice run with left over balloons. Did take some time putting together used a hot glue gun. Labor intensive but worth it

I found these super easy to put together. They are not very sturdy so I suggest indoor use only or more support if you're going to use them outside. They're super cute and for the money I'm glad I bought them, for our party. They take the smaller balloons and dark colors looked best inside.

Used this for a backdrop for my daughter’s first birthday photoshoot and her birthday party. Amazing quality for the money. The assembly was pretty easy. The pieces fit how they were supposed to. I used a hot glue gun to line the inside edges to seal the pieces together and it held up very well. Absolutely a steal for the appearance, ease of assembly, and quality.

Came used and messed up very disappointing had tape on it small pieces of what looked what a purple balloon and the paper ripping off DO NOT BUY!!

DIY girlie here. I bought 2 number 1s and the center panel came detached on one. The instructions that came with the box were terrible. The numbering seemingly made no sense Thank goodness the item on Amazon has a sensible picture. Taping together with the adhesive tape sent was tedious. Gluing would be the same I assumed. So I will not this easy to assemble AT ALL!!!!!! However, I recommend glue over tape as the recommendations suggest as that will probably hold better once adding the balloons. The tape sent with this product did not keep the box together once I started stuffing the balloons it. This made it frustrating to use. The colour was as expected. And in the end I got the job done. For the quality of the box it is too expensive. Plus, it is not storage friendly as you have to ripe apart the glued or taped cardboard. I can see it mildewing and yellowing if keeping in place so lose- lose.
