VIKROM Entremet Silicone Mold, Round Mousse Cake Mold, 7.5 Inch Diameter

I really debated what brand of me to buy for a Mirror cake. Bought two of these based on customer reviews. I was not disappointed. They worked exceptionally well. It was my first go at making this type of cake and I made two at the same time without problem. They are small but cakes with mousse and Mirror topping are rich so one goes a long way. I was careful to watch seam so I didn't have problems later on but found I could easily smooth what little line there was with my fingertip. I did compare this one to other eclipse molds listed on Amazon and it was the same size, same material, but lots cheaper.

LOVED this!! it worked great and was slightly smaller than I thought it would be, but overall it worked really well. I made a raspberry and pistachio entremet and it was fantastic! It held everything together and froze so nicely. Taking the entremet out of the mold was super easy.

Great mold! I use this to make chocolate mousse cakes to glaze as Galaxy Cakes for a cooking class I teach. The mold is nice, and it's great that it splits into two parts.

I made an entremet with lemon curd and white chocolate basil mousse. I had a lot of trouble getting the second top part over the bottom base, so I think I received a defective product. Nonetheless I made it work.

Muy buen molde, se ve más pequeño que en la foto pero así son los tamaños de los Entremeses. Pero ya este de dos piezas no se consigue así que es perfecto para mis postres

Bought this to make a mirror glaze mousse cake. It worked perfectly and I had no issues with it. The price was nice too. Because of the nature of the mold it'll make a seam around your mousse cake where the parts joined, just shave it off with a sharp knife while the cake is still frozen.

El molde tenía internamente unas rayas en la parte que quedaría superior del postre, al desmoldarlo salieron impresos los rayones. La unión de la base y la tapa no sella bien se derrama la mezcla. Lo usé para un exámen de pastelería y fue terrible.

The mould is fine but when I unmould the mousse, it didn’t come out as expected.
