This has been a useful book for my spouse who has aphasia from a stroke. The only things I'd change are the the type size on some of the pages (prefer it was larger) and the busyness/number of items on a page (prefer fewer items on some of the pages so it would be less distracting0. These things can be worked around though. All in all, this is a good vocabulary and learning tool presenting vocabulary, reading and comprehension skill challenges in an interesting way.

I use the Oxford Picture Dictionary regularly with my ESL classes. I teach English to Haitian adults, and I find that it is extremely useful beyond just learning the words. The pictures replicate different situations, like grocery shopping, traffic and driving, and household life. We use the pictures to start conversations and the words as ‘reminders’ as we describe what is going on. This book is absolutely a key piece of my teaching stash, and it is quite appropriate for learners of all ages.

The quality is good but this book is for low English levels. No new information if you have Intermediate or higher level.
