Don't Retire, Re-seal instead!
These are the best tire plugs made. I recommend you keep a tire patch kit in your vehicle at all times. I have used these over 30 years. They never let me or my tire down. Buy the tire lube and tools you need. Soon the whole neighborhood will be asking you to fix their flats! Great seller and a great price here on Amazon.

The right plug for a small puncture.
I carry a plug kit in each of my vehicles. It makes sense to have a smaller diameter plug for a smaller puncture. Safety Seal makes a quality product.

Essential add-on to repair kit
I had previously bought the Safety Seal tire repair kit and, upon its first use to plug a tire, its included plug yarns very a VERY tight fit for my small puncture. I promptly ordered these to add to the kit to give me more options in tire repair. I like the peace of mind of knowing I’ll have more appropriately sized plugs to deal with differing sized punctures.

Perfect for smaller punctures
The larger ones can be harder to use on small nails etc. This one seals perfectly just like the larger ones, but much easier to insert when dealing with smaller punctures.

The choice of pros for 50 years
The Safety Seal repair is what the pros use. The plug and the tools are top flight, but you can use the plugs as refills with your existing tools. They come in 4 sizes, from Slim to HD Truck. The Slim is right for motorcycles and ATVs, it's the same size as consumer-grade plugs. The standard size, which is fatter than consumer plugs, is for car tires. Get the lube too.

Not very SLIM
These are twice the thickness of the tire plugs I've used for 40 years. So, these Slims are not so very slim at all. Seems like most everyone is selling super thick plugs these days. Bought these because they were noted as "slim" but disappointed. May be a slip up at the factory, but I am going elsewhere to find some thin ones.

Had a small screw in my near new (1000 km ) Mazda CX5 kerb side rear tyre.i removed the tyre for better access. The tyre had not been losing air, the depth of the puncture was 16mm so I was of 2 minds whether to just place rubber glue in the small puncture hole or totally puncture the tyre & fit a slim safety seal . I probed the hole with a pocket screwdriver & pushed down with light to moderate force. This was enough for the screwdriver to totally pierce the tyre carcass I estimate that I had approx 4mm of undamaged tyre carcass prior to probing with the pocket screwdriver, I rotated the screwdriver at 45 degrees (performed around 4 complete rotations ) to gently spread the tyre ply prior to inserting the plug.Placed a small amount of the tyre lube on the the plug end of the insertion needle . insertion only required moderate force......There is no sign of air leakage ......the plugs are high quality & importantly self vulcanising making the repair a permanent one.....I am very happy now that I just didn't just place rubber glue in the original hole this may have later led to a blowout. I am very impressed with the safety seal system of tyre repair.
