Rival Pathfinder XXII-1200 Blaster, Most Accurate Rival System, Adjustable Sight, 12-Round Magazine, 12 Rival Accu-Rounds

This gun is an underrated gem among the Rival armory. For reference, I have used ten different manual Rival guns, and this one is my and my son's favorite. It has a shotgun-style slider cocking mechanism, and the clip installs beneath the gun. The bottom of the OEM clip has a rubber cap, so you could actually use it as a stabilizer for semi-prone shooting (the clip extends a ways below the gun). The trigger is admittedly not soft enough to be a sniper-style one, but it is still fun to shoot. I can confirm that the blue Accu-rounds are more accurate than other Rival rounds, and it is possible to legitimately sight-in this gun. However, the adjustable sights are really touchy, and you can easily bump and mess them up through regular handling. The only other gripe I have is that OEM replacement ammo clips do not exist. I bought my son a 12-round clear clip for reloads, but it's not the same feel or look. Still, this Nerf Rival Pathfinder is a joy to shoot, and makes indoor target plinking a real possibility. We were shooting a 3 in. target at 30 ft., no problem. Be advised the gun is specified for "14+," which confirms it's not the easiest gun to cock. It's a bit difficult for my 7 year old. Also, the fixed shoulder stock is not a true length, so it won't naturally reach your shoulder for prone shooting. Cycling rounds with the provided clip has never yielded double or failed cycles of the ammo. Its underrated nature, unique style, and reliability make this a fun and highly affordable Rival blaster.

Pros-Hasbro’s flagship line stays on top, well made, no blems, little creaking, good ergo, Fresh colors, fab pkg n gifting, hits hard, accuracy is consistent (or lack thereof) and new style of sights. Cons, ok so a reskin of sorts, prime is slippery as a tennis racquet in 100 degree summer weather, colors are kinda juve but Tis for a kid, fixed stock-argh, should be cheaper, new rounds are meh, and no rails!!!? I still dig this new line so I’m loyal and the other 2 in this new release are also reliable, interesting looking, very well built n in the end???….Fun!! Stoopid $$ for what joy n smiles n ya sometimes tears if u tag someone just right so buy these instead of 1–3 gallons of gas or forego a burger or smokes for a day. You will never regret it- Good job Hasbro for giving a few diamonds in the Nerf toy box! Ps- I paid $5.19 a gallon for super this morn for my Audi so there ya go…😵‍💫

Was in the market for some nerf blasters for some fun around the house. Bought a few rival blasters along with this one for when we have friends and kids over our house and I can say I am more than sastified with almost all the rival blasters. This one shoots acurate at 30 ft using the blue accu-rounds provided. Tried other rounds found on Amazon and it made it a bit less acurate. It shoots a bit harder than the chronos but still would be considered completely safe assuming you don't get hit in the eye (wear safety goggles). The pump action may be harder for younger kids. The stock is a bit short and could be improved. Seems lide a solid build, but thinking of getting another one just in case this one breaks.

Wonderful aesthetic, compatible with all other official NERF Rival rounds, and even compatible with every off-brand ammo I've run through it. The shotgun priming handle works very well. Sadly, it is not compatible with the 12-round magazines NERF sells. Those will not cycle ammo into the Pathfinder.

This has got to be the best Nerf blaster ever. One minor drawback is that the stock is too short for an adult, so you may want to find a third party attachment vendor; I found one that sells 3d printed stocks for this exact model, and it solved the problem well.

Our two kids love nerf and this device is really interesting - switching to squishy balls allows them to fire at a high rate with a lot of power, but you don't see the ammo falling apart as quickly as can sometimes happen with darts. The machine look and feel is great, and the accuracy is good (though outdoors, with a windy day and distance, you can get a bit of drift). the power of this absolutely demands eye protection if you're in a combat situation, but it's a TON of fun

Works just like an Alphatrooper/Accutrooper. However stock is not removable. Accuracy is standard Rival accuracy. Nothing wonky or exceptional.

Dispara muy bien, es de las más precisas de la línea Nerf Rival. El nivel de ruido es normal y la vibración al disparar es mínima por lo largo del cañón. Le quedan los modelos de cartucho más recientes (los que tienen doble muesca en el mecanismo de inserción). Las miras ajustables están bien a secas. El mecanismo de recarga es bueno.
