e.l.f. Hydrating Core Lip Shine, Delightful

Shade purchased - LovelyHaving read earlier reviews, I think ELF must have changed the formula because mine has no scent at all. It glides on easily with a good dash of sheer colour and feels like it is moisturising my lips. It also has decent staying power. It'll be living permanently it in my handbag now autumn has set in. I would love it even more if ELF could add SPF.

Elf bite size has always been my go to balm, but wow! This is amazing. Its super light and silky, looks almost like a mix between a gloss (minus the stickiness) and a lip oil, colour is bang on, I picked the darkest shade and its so sexy. I normally wear lip balm on a bare face but it would look beautiful on a make up look. The packaging itself is beautiful and I love the little heart in the middle. I have also ordered Joyful, which is a lovely soft pink, so complimenting.The only down fall is its watermelon scented and the stick itself is small for the price.Definitely my new fave!

I really like this lipstick, I have it in two shades, and will definitely buy a third. The colour payoff is good, and very buildable. It is glossy, but not overly so, it isnt sticky. It feels nice on the lips, it feels moisturising.The only negative , and this is personal preference, is the fragrance/taste; it is fruity- maybe watermelon, it is quite strong.Considering the price, I think this is a 10/10

Very hydrating and long lasting effect

I love the colour and texture of this and for the first time ever I've found a true nude. However, the shape makes it hard to apply precisely and I found with the darker colour I bought I had to clean my lips up after. They also have a very strong fake watermelon smell which I really hate. I would much prefer if they did not have a smell at all.

Affordable dupe of pink honey. Not as sheer as the original and a bit more of a pale pink. Has a little bit of a watermelon smell, which I don’t mind, but might not be others cup of tea.

Truly awful. I usually love e.l.f. products as they are suitable for sensitive skin, cruelty-free, look fantastic and are great value for money. This is the first product I've bought from the company which has disappointed. The colour looks like a deep purple but goes on a different colour, a warmer red with much thicker coverage than a tinted lip balm, as expected. It is so shiny and gloopy it is tricky to apply, and melted in its container after a few hours being in my make up bag. What is most unpleasant is the stale smell and taste on the lips. By far the worst sheer colour I've bought over fifty years.

This has now become my favourite lip colour. It’s sheer and juicy, completing a polished barely- there makeup look. It does need reapplying but goes on like a lip-balm so I don’t need a mirror.

She wanted it, so I bought it, and she likes it. That's about the best I can tell you about it other than the tint is also quite noticeable almost like lipstick but more see through.

Love the smoothness, the color , the smell, the hydration you feel in your lips. Not sticky at all and with a nice glow.
