Dove Promises are as good as you would expect them to be. Real chocolate without salad dressing. Nice variety in the bag.

I had a friend who need a boost, so along with some other stuff she would like, I sent these. I love dove chocolates. They have little affirmations in each foil and the chocolate is delightful. We all need a little positively and chocolate sometimes. Would buy again and again. She loved them too. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. I ordered these as fillers for a couple of Easter baskets I was planning on making for friends BUT I had to try one just to see how they tasted and they were SO good that I tried another then another , then I let my husband try the dark chocolate ones and he loved them so he has eaten most of them ! I will say they are exactly what I would expect from Dove, smooth creamy melt in your mouth delicious chocolates that taste so good you can't try just one. They are most definitely worth the cost as you get 3 different flavors and I would say there are about 90 in the bag.. I didn't count them but there are quite a few in the 22.6 oz. bag. They were fresh and great when received in March as it was quite cold.

These were fine, I suppose. The chocolate were creamy, they were fresh, they had a snap to them when biting down. They melted just like any other chocolate. However, I just wasn't fond of the taste. The quality of Dove chocolate just isn't what it used to be. They were good, and I might buy them again, but I'd probably opt for something else.
