Will this cable connect my type c port on my pc to an oculus quest 2?

I'll say no. I have gotten this cable twice (sent the first one back) and neither would charge the Oculus. Unfortunately I don't have anything else that charges via USB-C so I can't check the cable, but either it doesn't charge the Oculus or they have sent me identical defective cables.

Can this cable transfer video from my laptop to the docking station and from docking station I have a connection to my external monitor?

Mine does not. Only does power.

Can this be used to pass video to an external monitor?

This did not work for my external monitor. I have a Lenovo ThinkVision M14 and this cable will not work between this and my Thinkpad
