Will this work with Walmart inventory apps with employee phones?

Please help us to check and confirm whether your APP supports one of the three Bluetooth protocols HID, BLE, SPP, if so, please tell us which protocol it supports. If it is BLE or SPP, you need to set the scanner to the corresponding mode first, then turn on the Bluetooth of the APP in your APP and connect to the scanner. If the APP does not support any of these three Bluetooth protocols, the APP cannot be used with the scanner.

How do you power it off? It turns on and scans fine but cannot figure out how to power it off.

If the scanner is not used for a long time, it will automatically enter the sleep state, or you could scan the setting code on page 17 of the manual to turn it off.

Does This device work with Android?

Yes, the scanner is compatible with Android.

So will this replace trying to use my phones camera to scan barcodes?

The scanner replaces the keyboard for data scanning and uploading. When the scanner recognizes the barcode content, it will be displayed in the Word, Excel, or TXT document you click on

I love this thing, it paired perfectly with my iPhone and clips on securely. I’m an eBay seller who sources my items from thrift stores, garage sales and clearance sales. This scanner makes scanning UPC codes easy and fast. The eBay app does have a scanner that uses your phones camera but isn’t ideal and is slow. I can now scan through and check sold comps much faster. Of course this only works on items that are eith new of still have the UPC attached. I used this checking Walmart clearance yesterday and was impressed.
