I have used this product consistently for two years. Really like the fragrance (though strong), spray action could spread better as it’s more of a weak pump. Still I happily purchase this product, and this particular deal was impassable! My 5 and 2.5 year old sit easily, no more shouting to stop pulling their hair (this is a big one) and are agreeable to the hair task. Give it a go!

Works well on curly frizzy hair fine hair. Using it for adult and child at our house. Nice fragrance and not greasy or heavy. Hair feels light not weighed down. Will buy again.

This detangler helped with my one year old thick hair. He has a lot of curls and it-needs to be detangled daily This is non-greasy and smells great. This detangler sprays great and I just need a small amount to detangle his hair. I use a big teeth comb and all the knots are gone in seconds. I then follow up with Cantu curling creme. It has great ingredients and does not weigh down his hair. Good value here for a nice product.

This is the best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon! It’s a total game-changer for my 2-year-old twins with curly hair. We used to struggle every single day with combing their hair, no matter how much conditioner I used, the tangles wouldn’t come out completely, and it would always end in tears. Ever since I introduced this product, everything has changed. IT WORKS: completely detangles their hair, has a lovely smell and texture, and now they even enjoy combing time! This is a winner for us! My daughter has low porosity mix textured hair, and a lot of it. It takes several minutes to get wet in the shower, and some bits in the front seem like they never actually get wet. It tangles almost instantly once it has dried unless we braid it. She is 10 years old and this is the first detangler that I have ever found to actually work for her hair! It has cut our detangling time in half and there are no more tears!! I just divide her hair into sections and spray some water and then this Cantu detangler and magic happens. I don't know how it would work for those who need it to detangle and then style for the day because we always wash her hair after her big weekly detangle, but for our purposes it is perfect. It does have a scent but I don't mind it. I think for the reviews on here that are bad, it must really depend on the type of curly hair you are dealing with. Different porosity, texture, and curl type will need different products. So if your kid's hair sounds like my daughter's I would definitely give it a try!
