I recently had to take in a newborn kitten because the mom (a feral cat) abandoned it. This kitten was maybe 2 or 3 days old. I was so scared I would lose him because kittens are so vulnerable at this age. He would eat but he would not poop at all no matter how much I tried to stimulate him. I googled what to do and learned that kittens desperately need colostrum, and they get it from their mothers milk, however, you could also use bovine colostrum. Come to find out, I found this product on Amazon with great reviews so I bought it in hopes that it would help with digestion. I had the product overnighted to me so I could give my kitten a fighting chance. I gave the kitten a small amount of colostrum the moment it arrived and again with each feeding for the first day. Within 12 hours of administering the first dose, I poop you not— he finally had a super healthy looking poop! I was so happy that I cried lol. Constipation is so dangerous for a kitten and I truly believe this product saved my kitten. I also highly recommend a set of syringes and nipples that attach to them for feeding, as bottles are too big and could leak or lead to aspirational pneumonia. I bought some (also on Amazon) and it’s truly and sincerely helped. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this product. It’s truly life changing and I will swear by it for the rest of my life.
