CINOTON 26W LED Wall Pack Light with Dusk to Dawn Sensor 5000k Bronze 1Pack

Very easy to install and is nice and bright. Really lights up the backyard. I was re-lacing an existing but failed LED light and this one was perfect.

I was impressed by the material used on this product. Aluminium cast back shell, Rubber water / moisture seal for the back plate where the transformer was housed, it is a 110v AC to 34V DC transformer, seems well built. Front clear plastic housing has silicon seal. Both seals has a groove to sit in, make sure the seals are perfectly seated in the groove and the plate or plastic dome are level on all corners. There is also a weather seal pad where the back meets the wall. The light has a sensor, turns on automatically in the evening and turns off during the day. Super bright, illuminate much larger area than my solar powered led light. Light temperature is close to sunlight (cool white), matches my solar led light quite well, which is also 5000K. I bought this to light up my back door, so, not much to worry about neighbors. But if you were to install it on the side, it might be too bright if it is facing neighbor's window. I would say, for my old house, the neighbor's house is only 6 feet away it would be too bright to install it on the side, but for houses built to the new code, should be 10 feet at least between two houses, that should be ok. The user manual is very simple. I didn't even need it, because the product is very straight forward and I am a handy guy. But for people who are not very familiar with basic electrical works, please read the manual thoroughly. The product has three wires, one hot, one neutral one ground, which is standard. I am not expecting a four wire system like the power outlet in the restroom, since this light is not likely to be operated by a wet hand. There is only one complain really, the knock out plates are not easy. I had to find a punch that is very similar in size to knock them out. I guess one could also drill them out? But other than that I am very happy with the purchase.

Very bright

This is a nicely made unit with a thick plastic lens and a cast (instead of beer can) back plate for mounting. From there things go down a bit, excepting its performance. All light is directed thru the lens. I used it for my porch light and it broadcasts light similar to my halogen security lamps, but at a fraction of the power use. It stays on all night so might disturb the neighbors across the street. It's bright enough to make for safe walking along the length of my garage enough (dim) light in the driveway to find items in the car. Instructions: First remove the lens (4 #1 phillips screws, not 2) then the back back lens plate (two #2 phillips screws). Two screwdrivers required. Next knock out the proper plugs. 2 problems here. Hope that your box is mounted with screws exactly up/down or side-to-side. Also, like many of these products, the 2 3/4 inch (7cm) standard spacing for boxes doesn't have a knock so you'll need to knock out the slot and drill your own hole. Other than that all goes moderately well. It's attractive in a 90's look and should hold up well. The Chinese have excellent engineers so I don't understand why so few of their light products are to American mounting standards, but that's the way of so many light options these days. At least this product has enough heft to allow for drilling proper mounts and it seals very well to the wall. Between this light, and the 2 10W motion detection lights, my walkway lights up as bright as most kitchens.

I just installed this yesterday. Once it got dark, I was very pleased at the amount of light it put out. I replaced a similar LED fixture that died after about a year. I'm glad it died because this one is so much better. I thought it was going to be made out of plastic. When I started taking it apart to install it, I quickly realized the back housing is all metal. The only drawback to that is removing the knockouts. The big knockout in the center came out with a few good hits, but the little slotted ones took some effort. I eventually got them out by starting a hole in the groove with a screwdriver and hammer, then prying them out. It was an annoyance, but not enough to remove a start from my rating. The photocell seems to be nicely sensitive and located in a good spot on the fixture. The gasket used to seal the lens/cover appears to be very good quality. It's classified as a downlight, but don't let that fool you, it throws plenty of light forward and to the sides.This is one of the better if not best outdoor lights I've ever used. Now I hope it lasts.

Dusk to dawn sensor malfunctioning. Light flashing on and off all night.

I was skeptical about how bright this LED light might would be. It replaced a 70 watt HPS. Well, it lights up my driveway like a used car lot. For 26 watts, it's simply amazing. The fixture is put together with high quality components and the dusk-to-dawn photocell works flawlessly. It was a snap to install as well. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat, if I needed another outdoor fixture. Highly recommended.

Al momento de instalarla, durante la noche se encendía y se apagaba cada 10 segundos, después alguien comentó cubrir la mitad del sensor con cinta de aislar, debido que mis paredes y techo son blancos, el sensor detecta esa claridad. Y así lo hice. Funciona perfecto. Muy buena luz

La entrega del producto fue antes de tiempo, muy bien empacado. Luminaria con un excelente nivel de iluminación, de fácil instalación, hay la opción de conectar a muro o incluso mediante tubería sobre muro. La calidad de los materiales bastante aceptables, la cubierta transparente (o pantalla) a pesar de ser de material plástico da la apariencia de vidrio, la instalé en patio a la intemperie sin problemas por lluvia o polvo. El sensor incorporado evita que la lampara quede encendida durante el día.

Item received on time and as expected. Very good luminosity, the photo cell set with default sensitivity did work fine to turn light on at night automatically. Note: my model has no motion detection, because I just need the light to turn on when dark. Tip: to punch the holes for screws, use a punch tool and a hammer. The metal is thick, so don't be shy to bang bang.

I bought this to replace a 13w CFL unit that burned out. I would say that the 26w LED this is exactly twice as bright, as you'd expect, but it it also a very white light, which is much different than the yellow light a CFL puts out. The white light looks great, but not when paired with my other CFL fixtures, so I'll be upgrading those soon too. Installation is pretty easy for anyone familiar with installing light fixtures. The back is cast aluminium with various knock outs you can choose to punch out with a screw driver depending how how you want to screw it to the wall and pass the wires in. I plan to buy more of these. Update: One of the two I bought is starting to act up, it doesn't shut off at sun up anymore, I have to manually turn it off, wait a few minutes and then turn the switch on again. Owned it for just under 5 years. No response from the seller on here or the company's customer service email. I think the 5 year warranty is BS
