Worth It!
Picked this up to upgrade my Dogtra collar for my highly trained working K9 Dutch Shepherd, and itโs been a solid improvement. The winged design distributes contact more evenly and maintains better consistency without needing to over-tighten. Build quality is good, titanium points feel durable, and installation was straightforward. For a working dog thatโs active and training regularly, the added comfort and reliability make a difference. Overall, very happy with it and a worthwhile upgrade.

Great Customer Service
Really great product and definitely keeps more consistent contact than the contact points provided on the e-collar when you buy it. My dog also has sensitive skin and has had no issues with the material. Unfortunately the wing did snap after about 5 months, but thereโs a 2 year warranty. Dogtra very quickly honored it and had a new one in the mail within a day!

Husky approved
Perfect fit. Seems to be working on my husky.

Not electrically conductive
The plastic hold down nuts prevent electrical conductivity. I had to buy stainless steel nuts to make it work. The printed wrench is too week to do the job it broke right away. I used a 5/16 socket to finish it.

Game changer
Absolute game-changer. I have been training dogs for over 20 years, and using remote collars for as long. I had an old set of DT systems collars that were virtually indestructible, so I didn't have to replace my collars for a very long time. At last, we got a high-drive pup and only one of the old set still functioned properly, so we replaced with the Dogtra 1900X set. What a difference a new ecollar makes! But better yet, these winged contacts. I have an absolutely incredible 6 yr old GSDxMal who hardly needs his collar anymore, but freedom is guaranteed with a remote collar, so he wears a collar when we go out for off-leash adventures to this day. He used to wear it more as a young dog, but inevitably the probes would leave little wounds in his neck. Wear the old collar for a day, he would get hotspots. For two days, blisters. Needless to say, he didn't wear it so much after that. Also, we always had a hard time getting good contact from the points, making training difficult and even unreliable with the ecollar. Basically I trained him on the vibrate feature alone. Now with our pup (who is an absolute psycho), she will definitely be needing a collar. No doubt about it. She a little young for real training, but at 40# she can wear the collar around to get used to it. Well, first we got the new titanium wings for the elder, because of his obvious sensitivity. I checked constantly for even a hint of irritation, but have yet to detect even a warmer spot where the prongs rest. Also these wings make excellent contact with skin, tho he hasn't needed much for a stim. The pup hasn't had any sensitivity issues either, which is incredible, tho she is untested as far as stim goes. If we have contact problems, I will revisit this review. Finally, a note about the Dogtra 1900X... this is the remote collar set I have dreamed of. Plenty of stim levels to address either very soft or very hard dogs with nuance, and a boost for when an emergency. The tone is a great addition, the vibration is excellent, and even the light is handy (tho I would have preferred to not have only the strobing). I absolutely love that the system has a lock. I had an accident with setting the shim too high in the past, and its detrimental to training to say the least. You only want the minimum still needed to get a response from your dog, never anything more, so you can find that sweet spot and lock it in. The transmittor is great, user-friendly, tough and much smaller than my old one, which I love. Finally, the hands free square is flat-out ingenius, and Dogtra deserves a hundred kudos for that invention. So if you are on the fence about a new remote training system, I strongly encourage you to look at the Dogtra X-series (based on your dog needs of course), And then just get these winged contacts at the same time. Don't debate, just buy them right away. Yes they are a bit pricy, but worth it. Finally, I saw other reviews that said this winged contact covers the power button, but at least these 1900X wings do not. The power button is easily accessible with them on. No problem.

Save your money if have Cane Corso w thick neck, they break!!!
I've ordered this TWICE to go in my Ray Allen working dog collar and BOTH TIMES the stupid so called"titanium" wire broke. At first I thought it was due to getting tangled in the prong collar, but NO, it is just TOO FLIMSY for a 130# Came Corso Mastiff neck evidently, not able to withstand daily wear for daily service dog work. So we just put the regular portions back instead of risk these loose now wires stabbing him in the neck. I tried to contact customer support and they were supposed to email me and never did. Typically prior had good experiences with Dogtra but not with the wings AT ALL. my setup: I use Ray Allen police dog handled collar, with the Dogtra e-stem insert internally, the 1900X plus Handsfree square, paging mostly, light and tone, actually rarely use stem. All of his other gear is Ray Allen. he is scent trained, obedience, agility, and nothing too forceful that would break the wings, like they did. We don't do schitzhund or agitation work with that collar. It should have held up, but when second one broke, that's $85 down the drain bc of course they both broke after the month return window. Maybe I'll contact Dogtra again to get a comp or some other option.

Dogtra Titanium
"More efficient, especially for dogs that have long hair, like my GSD."

Wonderful for small and medium dogs
We are currently training our dog off leash. The two prong contact pad was too harsh for our medium size dog. The comfort pad made a huge difference in training.

Great for dogs with double coats
A great upgrade over the stock contacts on the Dogtra 280c. Much more efficient at getting through my dogs fur and making contact with the skin.

Would recommend.
Works as expected. Replaced standard contact points on Dogtra 1900s. Fitted on a Dutch Shepherd.

Great - 1 draw back
Great way for the prongs to reach skin of long haired dogs! My only draw back was trying to plug it in with it on the collar. There isn't a lot of space. I ended up purchasing an L shape USBC.

? The vertical wrench integrity
The plate is good as expected however the vertical wrench supplied disintegrated on the first use. I had to use pliers to attach to the collar.
