This book has it all. Ride and restaurant reviews. With many photos and maps to support. Further their online blog (while frequently asking for donations) has up to date info on current developments and events. All in a very down to earth conversational style. Even with the advertisements, I have to give this book 5 stars. You can't understamate the value of this information. And your visit to Universal will be smooth. Finally dont miss the back of the book where you will find a number of plans to minimize your effort while maximizing your fun.

This is a good book for anyone heading to Orlando's Universal Studios. It has an abundance of information on restaurants, rides, and more. It also includes a lot of useful links to other resources that can be used in real time while you are visiting the park. I recommend this book to anyone who is going to visit Universal Studios Orlando.

I bought this book just before going to Universal in June. What a big help. Those souvenir cups with unlimited drinks was a great tip as it was very humid outside. The only thing I would do differently is not purchase the Express Passes. They were very expensive and not worth the extra money. This book, on the other hand, is very much worth the money and is a good way to pass the time on a long flight to Central Florida.

This book was great. It was updated for 2017 and covers everything from how to reduce wait times to hotels and touring plans. We used the tips in this book and did not wait in any lines longer than 30 minutes the whole time - during Christmas/New Years with 10/10 crowd calendar. Worth every penny!

This should have better than 3 stars for it's review but it is the most irritating book I have ever read. If I wanted a book about Disney I would have purchased a book about Disney. Or if I wanted a book about Universal vs Disney I would have purchased that. I have been to Disney several times. This is my first trip to Universal and that's what I wanted to know about. If I had a dollar for every time Disney is mentioned in the book I could have stayed in Florida longer and gone to both. Compares everything from the entrances to both parks to the parking. When I got to the dining section and it said, and I quote, "Quick-service (or counter-service, as it is called at Disney) offerings are largely comparable to Disney... I am going to Universal - I don't care about what Disney does or offers. I have quit reading the book. I will be better served to just go to the parks and find out what Universal offers rather than how it compares to Disney.

Very comprehensive guide to Universal Orlando. Helped me a great deal in planning my trip. Detailed information on tickets, food, hotels and each individual ride. Highly recommend for planning trips to Universal. Great book

Having read several years of the UG to Disney World, I was a little disappointed how much of the general content was recycled. I also would have preferred rides to be organized alphabetically rather than breaking them out by the "land" they resided in.

Love this book. Boys loved delving into it to. Purchased it before our very first trip. Have already lent them out. Great asset to have, especially for first timers. But for anyone really. Tons of info.

This is the 6th "Unofficial Guide" I have purchased and I highly recommend them. They are easy to read and provide so much information
