Sometimes some things are so good that the only word that fits is 'Ooh' This is one of those things. I bought it because I wanted it for a hotel room I was sharing with my dog, so spacwas at a premium. Even quite a small dog takes up a lot of space in a hotel room, and Winston is not a small dog 🤣 Anyhow, space saving was my primary concern. The fact that it is really quite cool is a bonus, and the fact that it is really solid is a serious bonus I really hope it lasts, because it is just 'Ooh'. I will update this in time and let you know what its longevity is, I hope it is good, it really deserves to be good 👍 To open it, simply twist and juggle it a bit, and it opens. Imagine you are playing an accordion. Twist one way and pull, twist the other was and it locks it. Then the reverse to close it again .... Update:- So a week has passed, this has been sat on for an average of around two hours per day. Still working perfectly. There is no wobbliness, there is no obvious signs of wear and tear. It really is a very clever design. The update today is that I truly am gutted. I mean really quite upset, because my chair died, just now. But look well, ye searcher for the truth, for 'tis still 5 stars!!! Ok, this was bought to last a possible few days in the hotel. I really made it work hard. After all it is designed as a folding/collapsible stool. It is obviously not intended for really intensive use. If you look at some feedback, you will see that I have a bit of an addiction problem with ROKR wooden puzzles (if you have not seen them, have a look, they are brilliant), and some of these have hundreds of parts. So I have a work table where I put the puzzles together, and a table behind me with all the pieces on it. So I was standing up, sitting down and swivelling as well. It has really worked well. And until this afternoon it didn't get loose or sloppy. The reason it broke is because I dropped a screw and bent right over to pick it up. It was the uneven loading that was the problem. Not the stool. To be honest I am going to be buying a couple more to stay in my car when we are doing the car shows this summer. But no more making models with it. Also I am quite heavy. I need to lose a bit of weight, for the poor stool had to cope with an awful lot more that it was intended for, and 15 stone. I still recommend this. But stand up before bending over.

Brilliant for what I wanted it for 👍 Getting a bit older now, and this was perfect as an aid for getting up off the floor when camping. Also useful for putting socks on, carries my weight easily, im probably 110-120kg. Packs away nice and small so fitted into the topbox of my motorbike easily. Im 5' 10" and height was OK for me but might be a bit low for anyone taller.

This is very sturdy compared to the previous one I had that went missing so I have a lot more confidence sitting on it than on the previous one. The only thing I would say is that it took me a short amount of practice to get used to expanding/collapsing it as it seems to have a spring inside so it works when only partially expanded. My legs aren't great so this is perfect for me; light, compact and easy to use when I need to sit down.

This stool is amazing, portable , lightweight, easy to use, adjustable height, just not a seat you can sit on for any extended amount of time as it has no padding. Comes in very handy at home and at work.

Very sturdy, easy to pack or carry. Great as a stool, or as a side table at the beach!

Its just craze how handy this thing is, I work on aircraft and a lot of the time I'm trying to find a box to sit on while doing my job, a friend introduced me to one of these, that was it, I went out and bought one, it fits in the bottom of my tool box and when using its, it's height adjustable, so fit any were, perfect for cargo holds, under small jets wings, its light and easy to use, its brilliant, I recommend it.

This stool is amazing. Its so sturdy. Great product. Good value for money. So easy to open and close. Doesn't take up much space. Would recommend this product.

So useful for busking while I play fiddle. Light but strong. Adjustable height and packs up nicely. Easy to pack away and move on. Shall take it camping too
