I’ve been very happy with Fram filters for a long time. As an automotive educator I’ve actually disassembled Fram filter to compare to other brands. Been happy with what see on the inside. Not everyone out there has the money to burn to disassemble a new filter, I won’t say I really do, but I have mine to put up against anyone who says it’s not at least equivalent to any other major brand.

Have bought this brand of filter for years for our boat that we had for 30+ years. They filter good, priced fair and like the black grip material on the filter that makes it easier to screw them on or off.

Product worked well- change oil at 5k intervals and it appears slightly dark at this interval. So I am guessing it filter well since the vehicle has 160k on it
