Unbreakable - Pour Over Coffee Maker with Double Stainless Filter 27 fl oz, Thickened Heat-Resistant Borosilicate Glass Pour Over Coffee Dripper, Stovetop Safe

I've been using a paper filter pour-over from the originator of this type of coffee making for about a decade. I've gotten a bit tired of the cleanness of the coffee and wanted to try something a little more robust. This caught my eye, and I figured what the heck, it looks interesting, it's not expensive, so why not. It was a good purchase. the urn is attractive and flawlessly made. I hope not to find out whether or not it lives up to the Unbreakable name, but it has held up to a bit of careless handling. The borosilicate glass has a bit of weight, but it's not too heavy. The spout pours perfectly cleanly without a single drip. The filter is a cross between a cone filter and a French press filter. The coffee is double filtered; the inner filter is a fine mesh filter, the outer is just perforated steel. There are several holes in the bottom, and I was afraid that it would pour too quickly and not give water enough time on the grounds, like some other mesh filters. It does not. Coffee drips at a normal rate for a pour-over. It tastes a lot like press coffee without the sludge (or not much). I'm using the same medium-fine grind that I use with the paper filter maker, and it works well. Since the volume of this filter is less than the #4 filters I've been using, I have to do more pours, so it takes a little more attention. Grounds tend to stick to the filter, so it takes a little more care in cleaning, but the results are worth it. This is definitely different than other coffee makers I've used, but I'm quite pleased with it. It makes good coffee, looks unique, and pours like a charm. I'm convinced.

Neat little thing. We always buy the other brand but have broke three of those so far. Thought we'd try this. So far I have knocked it over once and my children twice and it still stands as unbreakable! Great product and produces great coffee. Update: it broke on the third tip over by one of the kiddos

High quality glass, and the metal filter is much better to use than paper when it comes to convenience. One thing you should know about these metal filters is that you shouldn't overgrind your coffee beans or you risk some making it through the metal holes. This is not a problem, but just one downside of them. I still think it's cleaner and more convenient than paper filters though. It does look pretty brittle though, so be careful not to drop it.

It not unbreakable. They should just leave that out. I like the pot alot, buying another one. But, it fell about 6 Inches and broke. Good pot, stop with the unbreakable crap. If it didn't break I'd give it a 5

UPDATE: I found myself not wanting to use this because it was so delicate and gave it to my daughter. They got one use out of it before it fell and shattered. Luckily, the kids and pets weren't nearby or blood would have been spilled for sure they were so sharp. - NOT UNBREAKABLE IN THE LEAST - This cannot possibly be real borosilicate!!! - DANGER WARNING - DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR PETS IN THE HOUSE!!! Original: It's adorable but the glass is a lot thinner and lighter than I would have expected from something deemed unbreakable in the title. I'm 100% certain that claim is 100% false - it's way too thin to be unbreakable; I'm not sure if it's borosilicate or not, and not sure where it gets the claimed "thickened" unless it means like thickened from being paper thin LOL (ok it's not THAT bad but definitely not comparable with other borosilicate glass kitchen items I've seen). I also got a cheaper filter that's just one that sits on top of a mug and for whatever reason, that other filter seems to work better and the coffee is more flavorful with it than with this one, and that's been consistent over several uses. Overall, this is super cute and does work exactly as it claims, and as thin as it is, it did not break in transit - it was very well packed inside its box luckily. So, it absolutely does work and it's easy to pour out your coffee, but avoid it if you have anyone in your household that tends to break things easily or if you have children that might knock it over. It doesn't seem like it will be very long-lasting since the glass is so very thin, which is the reason for the lost star.

I ordered this in October 2025 and now it’s March 2026…barely five months later it has cracked IT IS NOT UNBREAKABLE. I did not drop it or hit against anything but it cracked from hot water being poured into it. The glass of the vase is very thin and it feels as if you have to be extra careful when placing it down in comparison to other coffee vase makers I have used in the past. One thing I do like is the spout which makes it easy to tea and coffee pour.

Great countertop coffee pot set for the not so avid coffee drinkers, this works great for me because 2 cups is usually my cut off. The glass is fairly thick but does not retain heat, it has survived a few trips in the dishwasher and no issues! Great choice for those wanting to reduce plastic in the coffee making process.
