I ordered this flashlight it arrived on time when you press the buttons to turn it on sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. I requested a return authorization in order to second one the second one showed up same problem. Also returning it. Terrible quality terrible customer service.

Turning on and off requires complex morse code of pressing button on 3 times rapidly, then 3 slowly, then spin around and stand on your head... Bright for its size, about the size of a lego figure, battery doesnt last long, recharge regularly- and check that it works often. The glow feature is handy and uv lite works! Fenix has a better, easier system, runs on 1 aaa battery, and off switch has zero current, so flashlight doesnt drain constantly. This is pretty good, though tad expensive.

I love clipping these (I have 2) on my backpack when walking in the city. I can look for dog poop on darker sidewalks at night. I just press the light, it's on and bright, and then release and it is off again. Love that function. Also love the dimmability (why does that have 2 Ms in it?). Love that it's rechargeable, too. What is there not to love? One point: Don;'t expect to get a blue flashlight as is shown. It will be clear.

Overall a super cool keychain flashlight, I would have loved to keep it, but the battery wouldn't last a week even without using it once. Also it didn't glow very bright at all. All the other features are cool though. I would strongly recommend their other product the nitecore tiny 2. In stainless steel or titanium. The aluminum version got so scratched up from being on my keychain, and it also got so hot that it broke itself.

I’m OK with it, but think a good test of usability is whether I can show my mother, a perfectly smart person but not technically inclined, how to use a product one time, and not ask me again how to use it the next day, if not reject it outright. If she ever has to ask me how to turn it on or off, why the battery went dead, or other basic functions, it’s a fail. This light fails the “would my mother like to use this?” test, badly. Like I said, I’m OK with this light (it’s good quality and has some neat tricks), but if you just want to push the button and make bright light, or if you’re considering it as a gift to someone who wouldn’t want to take time to learn how it works, there are better choices. I that case, I’d specifically avoid any small flashlights that describe its on/off switch as a “user interface.” On the other hand, if learning “user interfaces” to use all the features is your thing, the Nitecore lineup is pretty cool and this is not an exception.
