must have for freezer
The Overview: The Govee Hygrometer Thermometer 3Pack H5100 has transformed how I manage temperature and humidity across various parts of my home, including critical areas like the refrigerator and freezers. Originally purchased to ensure the freezer maintained the correct temperature for storing my baby's milk, I've found these sensors to be incredibly reliable and versatile. The Good: Reliability: These sensors have proven to be spot-on with their readings, providing peace of mind, especially for sensitive goods like baby milk. Emergency Detection: One incident where these sensors shone was when a breaker accidentally switched off, affecting my spare freezer. The temperature drift alert saved me from losing valuable food, including my baby's milk. Summer Savior: With Texas summers being notoriously hot, placing sensors around the house allowed us to monitor temperature changes effectively. When we noticed the room temperatures rising, we were able to diagnose and fix an AC leak promptly, preventing further issues. Ease of Use: Easy to set up, the app is user-friendly; adding sensors and connecting to Wi-Fi was seamless. I started with Bluetooth operation for convenience and later added Wi-Fi for setting up temperature alerts, which was an excellent feature for proactive monitoring. Awesome feature that you can download data. You can see the temperature graph and overlay them in the app for comparing. Set up alarms and tons of other features. I like that there are other sensors that can be added and monitired from one app, definitely something I will explore. Versatility: From room to room, fridge, and freezer, these sensors have found a place everywhere, making them indispensable for home management. The Not-So-Good: Really, There's Little to Critique: would be nice if it could locate the sensor, otherwise you have to remember where you placed it in the room:-) Overall: The Govee Hygrometer Thermometer 3Pack H5100 has become a must-have in my household. It's not just about comfort; it's about safety, efficiency, and avoiding potential disasters. Whether it's safeguarding baby food or ensuring your home stays at a comfortable temperature, these sensors deliver on all fronts. Pros: Highly reliable temperature and humidity readings Critical for emergency detection in appliances Easy setup with the Govee app, Wi-Fi compatibility for remote monitoring Versatile enough to use throughout the home Cons: If you forgot where you placed these it might be difficult to find afterwards. Conclusion: I recommend the Govee Hygrometer Thermometer to everyone looking to keep their living spaces in check. It's an investment in comfort, safety, and peace of mind. These sensors have not only saved me from potential food spoilage but also from having to endure a sweltering summer without AC.

Great add-on sensors (Bluetooth only unless you have the WiFi module) — accurate and super handy
I bought the add-on pack without the WiFi module to expand my setup. I use them to monitor temperature and humidity in my leopard gecko enclosure and in other spots around the house, and they work great and seem accurate. Since these are the add-on sensors, they connect via Bluetooth (not WiFi, unless you have the WiFi module already, which I do), but they’re perfect if you already have the main unit or just want extra sensors. I’ve found a lot of uses for them—reptile enclosures, plant room, and anywhere you want to keep an eye on humidity/temps.

Great addition to existing Govee network.
It’s always nice to have extra temperature sensors on our Govee network. These work great and are easy to set up with your existing Govee bridge.

Love these!
I first bought one for my incubator. Worked amazing. Then I got a bunch more: for rabbit hutches and my quail cage. You need an app to use it, but it's awesome to be able to check all the temperatures in different spots on one screen at a glance. you can also set your own temperature and humidity alarms for your phone to yell at you if the humidity is too high or too low (you define what's too high or too low for each device). There is a small issue with iPhones not being able to connect to the device if you don't create an account. It's an app bug that appeared after I used it for a while. Originally I didn't want to create an account (why would I want to go through creating an account just to use a thermometer?). And it worked at first. Then maybe they put out an app update and no new devices could be connected to the iPhone app, it just spins. Even the device that used to work couldn't connect after I disconnected and tried to reconnect it. I tried it on a different iPhone device, same story. Android could connect but after about 30 seconds (then again that Android phone is a potato, so it may have been the phone issue). You can go around this trouble by creating an account. I think it's because the devices I connected on my Android synced to my iPhone after I signed in with the same account? Idk. By the time your read this, the bug may have already been fixed. Even if not, creating an account may be a workaround for it. Overall, good stuff. Also, the device is tiny, so it fits in the incubator great and comes with an optional string that you can use to hang it off of a nail or something.

Amazing Temperature Monitoring System
We use these at our restaurant to help monitor 20 pieces of commercial refrigeration. They are amazing! The software and the hardware work excellently. And, yes, I hate it when a chef doesn't close a refrigerator tightly and I get an alarm at 2am alerting me of a slightly out of spec temp that I have to immediately go deal with. But I would hate it a lot more if we had to throw food out in the morning. I can also monitor the health of each refrigerator by checking the history and seeing condenser cycle times, defrost times and temperature. This system does all it says it does and it does it very, very well. Highly, highly recommended.

I have these in various places around my house for remote monitoring.
These have been fun to remotely monitor all my rooms, basement, attic and outside temperature and humidity at any time in the house. It is cool to see how day/night affect different areas and how getting insulation in the attic changed things. Very easy to add to the app. I got rechargeable batteries so they will be easy to maintain over the years
