Worthwhile upgrade from a desk mount - quality item
Quality item and very sturdy. Easy to assemble and plenty of mounting options. I was previously using a Fanatec CSL DD via a desk mount and although I thought my desk was pretty sturdy, it was nothing compared to using the wheel via this NLR Wheelstand. There is no sooo much more detail and nuance in the FFB and I find myself catching slides and spins much more easily than I did previously. Having a solid deck for the pedals is also much better and provides much better feeling that you are connected. Via the desk mount I also found FFB would generate noise (creaks from the fanatec desk clamp and also my desk) as well as jiggling my desk and monitor. Now the Wheelstand is no longer connected to desk and therefore monitor, everything feels more stable and quiet when racing. It's also very handy having one unit that all the gear is mounted to in terms of getting ready to race. Previously it took upto 10min to get everything out and connected and in position ready to race. Now setup is a breeze and makes it more likely I'll do some racing. Can't recommend highly enough and it's made much more of an upgrade than I was expecting. Also really good value given the quality I would say.

Solid, low flex, heavy (a good thing)
I'm a 51 year old GP who has enjoyed sim-racing since the original GT on the original PS. I've always had a wheel of some sort to play them, but generally something cost effective as I was a student, and they kept breaking. So I used a Logitech GT Force, and the G25, always on a stand I hacked together from an old desk my GF (now wife) had. IT did the job, but had lots of flex and looked like crap. So, the next level wheel stand? Absolutely fantastic. Initially had it set up with the G25 and it improved the force feedback immeasurably. Then I put a Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel on it, and boy I'm in heaven. Pop the Occulus 3 on, and I can drive stupidly fast on several of the most famous circuits on the planet. It's pretty easy to build, a little fiddly to know how to angle the various plates that need to be angled, and I would suggest you have a good look at your wheel and pedals before hand and decide the best orientation in advance. It's plenty solid enough, I'm using a pretty heavy load-cell break and it only very occasionally moves under pressure when I'm really over-doing it. The gear shifter/handbrake table is a bit rubbish sadly. It's functional enough but you get very few positions you can put it in, and it's uncharacteristically wobbly compared to the rest of the unit. There have been complaints of heaviness. I'm of average build, maybe 70kg, and have no issue moving it from storage position to sofa position, about 2m. I haven't tried folding it away, looks like it would do this quite well but I've got the room not to need to do it fortunately. ABS haptic module on my list for Santa.

Solid Racing Stand!
Absolute solid piece of kit, easy to assemble. NLR do have an instruction video on YouTube which is useful if you can't be bothered to read the instruction manual. Mounted Logitech G923 trueforce no problem, holes in the right places for bolting. Logitech is going back and mounted my Fanatec CSL DD PRO , again straightforward and everything fits. My one issue is the gear shifter arm, this bolts to the left or right down arm but only fits the top down arm that slides up and down in the lower arm, I found that the wheel plate was a tad too high due to not being able to bolt it lower down the down arm, hope that makes sense. Means my arms are holding the steering wheel just a little bit higher than would like but its not a deal breaker. Build quality is great and has the option of adding the seat add-on if you fancy. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Happy racing! **UPDATE** Fitted the pc chair wheel tray today and found I was sat way too close to the wheel. Bought some metal bars with holes and extended the tray by approx 12 inches, now able to use pc chair in the wheel deck no problem. No movement whatsoever when heavy braking. Whoever tested this at NLR must've been 6 stone and skinny as a rake. Anyway, problem solved.

You get what you pay for - this is a quality item!
I bought this item as I am getting more into racing sims. Nothing is worse than trying to keep up a competitive pace only to have the pedal box move out of alignment, or the clamps holding the wheel not being quite as secure as you might like. Being completely honest this one was more expensive than I ideally wanted to spend, but having the ability to lock my office chair into the frame using the front casters sealed the deal. First off I will say, this is a HEAVY unit, rock solid construction but not something that is all that easy to move. It is not impossible by any means but smaller folks may need help. I will be moving mine quite regularly from a deployed position in front of my PC to folded away against the wall. Not a reason not to buy, but something to be aware of. The packaging was good with a comprehensive set of instructions to build the unit. If buying, take the time to check, check and check again that you are assembling everything the right way around, the plate that the pedal box mounts to in particular. The unit comes partially assembled and you get all the bolts, allan keys etc that you need to do so. I took the time to attach the wheel and pedals to their respective mounting plates so that I could get a better feel for the height of the wheel, angle of the pedals etc. This isn't something referenced in the instruction booklet but I would recommend it. OK so enough of the pre-amble Snowy, you are saying I am sure, what about using it? With the unit set up and F1 2023 running on my gaming PC, I gave the new setup a try. If you use a pedal-box on the floor, you will know about movement there no matter how good the carpet grips may be., especially using more modern pedal boxes with higher resistance on the brakes. What I hadn't appreciated though is how much I had held back from aggressive steering inputs with the wheel clamped onto my desk. With my wheel and pedals (Logitech G920) bolted physically to the frame, there is absolutely zero movement. Mounted to the stand, the wheel and pedals now feel like the are attached to the body of a car, there is no flex, no movement at all that you can apply that will cause any kind of movement to the frame. This lets you stomp on the brakes, wrench the wheel to catch a slide, and everything just stays true and solid. I don't have space for a full cockpit setup (seat etc) but if I want to expand the setup down the ways, the Next Level Racing kit will allow me to do so without having to buy a whole new unit. Equally it provides me with the perfect mid-point that matches my needs and available space - I have a much better sim racing rig now with the added bonus of being able to fold it and move it aside when not in use. Very happy customer, would recommend Next Level Racing products based on this experience. Well made, well engineered, good instructions for the assembly and well packaged.

Fantastic solution.
The first thing to know is - it's very heavy. Too heavy to be lugging about. I fitted two small castors to the front, all you need is a pair of small castors with an 8mm tread that will screw into the frame. The threaded holes are already in the frame. I'm using it with a Fanatec GT DD pro 8nm and the CSL elite V2 pedals. I use it on a couch so I have to use a strut to stop the frame from being pushed forward when I'm using it. With the V2 pedals I'm applying a lot of force. Gotta say it's a very good quality frame, well designed and comes with plenty of bolts. With other stands you would have to go to the hardware store for more bolts. There is absolutely no flex using the 8nm DD pro. This stand is for someone who hasn't the space for a full racing rig. It's the next best thing. If you were using pedals that didn't have a load cell you wouldn't need a strut because it wouldn't move. I think it's the best racing stand on the market. It'd probably handle anything up to 12nm maybe even 15nm

well made and very stable
very stable, straightforward to assemble, as other reviewers have said it is not light but it is well made, easy to attach my logitech g923 wheel and pedals to although i did use youtube as a guide because i lack any mechanical empathy! this is a good product

Quality and stabile wheel base with options
Very sturdy wheel base, I see they added pads for the shifter part so it's not wobbly and it worked like a charm, a bit of force is needed to mount this shifter arm but I'm very happy with the quality overall. It was compatible with my Monza setup

Over priced
Overpriced as are all next level racing items. Easy to put together and does the job. But very heavy, mind your fingers and toes.

Great quality
Easy to assemble with either the paper or video instructions. Very sturdy frame. I mounted the Fanatec CSL DD wheel base and pedals, the frame stays solid and doesn't budge. The chair tray is a great feature. Solid investment for your sim racing, as it is extensible with a fixed racing chair if you ever wanted to. Mind that it's heavy by itself, even heavier with wheel base and pedals mounted. You can fold it, but I can recommend getting some M8x15 wheels with brakes to move it around and save your back. The frame already has the holes provided as it comes with some basic feet in the package.

NLR Wheel Stand 2.0
The NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 is awesome, been using it for a few months and couldn't be happier. Mounts all your sim gear nicely and all the adjustable / foldable features is great and convenient to move your set up out the way when needed. Couldn't recommend a better product if this is something you are looking at getting.
