Solid, heavy, and built like a tank!
The GMMK Pro feels premium the moment you pick it up. I was genuinely surprised by how heavy it is, but that weight translates to incredible stability. It stays planted even during long sessions and looks fantastic on the desk. The aluminum frame gives an industrial, high-end feel that's hard to beat. The 75% layout is ideal for me, compact without sacrificing function keys. Combined with my Kailh Box White switches, it delivers a sound and feel that’s pure quality. This was actually my first time building a keyboard. I was always scared to have to solder or manipulate the switches. This shell made that a breeze, though, with simple plug and play! This shell is the foundation of an S-tier build and absolutely worth it if you want a keyboard that feels as good as it looks.

Awesome value and great sound
Looks fantastic and sounds great, it was a little pingy at first but after a tiny bit of foam it helped. This thing is built like a tank and feels awesome to type on, the software is relatively easy to use and pretty great. Although I'd like the chance to change one of the keys to have two windows keys like on traditional keyboards.

Good...minus some QC issues.
I love this keyboard! It's my first ever custom kb bought with the intention of it being a relatively uneventful build. It's HEAVY and sounds great with my Boba U4T switches and looks great too with the RGB and the Glorious RGB keycaps! That being said, there were a couple of QC issues that made this a somewhat frustrating build. The first was an issue with the "screw hole?" standoff breaking away from the frame of the front plate. Not a huge issue I suppose, but it came in the box loose, and I had to awkwardly anchor it with a pair of plyers to get the screw to tighten down. The second issue was the enter key was hard sticking in the down position. It felt like the keycap was being wedged down over the switch. It would not come back up at all without being pulled. I took the keycap and put it on another switch/standoff pair and had zero issues. So I swapped out the switch for the enter key, same thing. So I put a different keycap on it, same thing. I end up removing all the caps and switches and completely disassemble the keyboard. I get down to the PCB and take one look at the stabilizer and immediately know what the issue is. One of the two housing was literally like 'S' shaped. Of course they're supposed to be rectangular. So when the stabilizer was depressed, the inner square-ish piece was getting wedged in the bottom of the S-shaped housing. Pretty big bummer as all the other stabs worked perfectly. That being said, it seems that one of the biggest complaints with this KB is the stabs, so instead of RMAing the device and dealing with all that, I took the opportunity to just order some actual quality stabs. After being thrust more into the custom kb world than I anticipated, I still would say this is a worthwhile buy. Just be aware that there might be some quality issues that you have to address.

Excellent build quality! Stabilizers not an issue
When you pick this thing up you really feel the quality. The frame is a hefty almost 4lbs and is top notch. I paired with Glorious Panda Lubed switches and some side facing key caps and the combo is a game changer. The LEDs shine through nice to illuminate the side print keys The download software could use some help, but I will not hold that against the review of this board. There are several on-board Fn key options that make this work right out of the box, such as change brightness, LED profiles, polling rates, etc. the details are on their website. I did not have issues with the stabilizers as others have stated. The space, Enter, etc. seems really smooth and dont stick at all, perhaps this issue is fixed with newer batches. The packaging was nice and i was glad to see extra screws as well as switch and keycap removers in the box. Glorious has really quality products and I am satisfied

GMMK PRO Frame = Fantastic!
To start off, I have only just built my first custom keyboard. I don't have any experience with keyboards that would be considered super premium, and any keyboard enthusiast would probably cringe at what I have used up until this point, maybe except for the lightspeed keyboard I had been using for a while. I liked the lightspeed until I came to realize how little I like full height mechanical keys. I just built a custom keyboard with a GMMK PRO barebones frame, silent black ink switches, and a set of low profile XVX keycaps from Womier. I absolutely love the keyboard, the keycaps might have to get changed due to RGB shine through being... not ideal. But that is my fault, the caps were advertised as recommending north facing RGB's since the legend is on the upper part of the keys. To speak exclusively about the barebones frame, I am aware that the keyboard market is full of options, and there are many enthusiasts who are very particular about their keyboards, for plenty of good reasons. The customization and personality, the feel and experience of each unique keyboard... It is a really fun concept that can also be a bit confusing and convoluted due to the depth of how complex some builds can be. This barebones frame takes a lot of the complexity out of the more deep and confusing ground-up keyboard building, and does a lot of the work for you :) The frame itself is hefty, solid, and built well. I love the simple but sexy aesthetic. The knob is really premium :o My favorite part though, is that this frame allows me to take my first step into the custom keyboard game, especially when I have always found my typing experience lacking. All you need to do after you get this frame is buy keyswitches of your choice, and keycaps. It really is that simple! Also, my setup was just asking for a little class and better fitting keyboard, so... :) Another thing to note is that the RGB is excellent and can be controlled simply with the frame (apparently, I haven't operated RGB with the frame yet myself) or by installing the software. The software is actually really good too, simple, and works well! Once more, mentioning that I am not experienced in a wide variety of keyboards, I can't speak on how this compares to other platforms. I can say however, that I love it! The solid build quality, awesome RGB and subjectively how clean and gorgeous it looks, leads me to really appreciate it overall and the experience it has given me! Highly recommended :3

Best Entry Level Custom Keyboard
This is a very solid entry into the hobby of custom keyboards. I have two of these, one silver with Glorious Panda switches and one black with Durock T1 Sunflowers. The black one is my favorite as the keys are very snappy and tactile, and all you hear is a glorious "thocc, thocc, thocc" with every key press. Note that this is without any modifications at all. No "sticking stabilizer" issue but the silver one did have a slight rattle on the return key. Touched it up with some Dialectric Grease (without going through the process of opening the case and actually removing the stab), and all good now. Other than that, the stabilizers on both boards are solid and the keyboard itself weighs a ton and feels like a solid block of aluminum. As a whole, it's waaaay better than anything from Razer, Corsair, HyperX, or Ducky (I've had all of those boards). And thats the point actually - the GMMK Pro is targeted for those folks graduating from those types of keyboards, and on that count it succeeds with flying colors. For sure, there are some negative reviews online. But, 1) most of those were reviewed early on when it was first released and Glorious had some QC issues, or 2) they're judging the keyboard as if it was a $500 group buy thing, which it doesn't pretend to be. If you're on the fence, just do it. Couple this with your preferred set of key switches and you won't be dissatisfied.

Better than the words can describe
You really can't describe the quality until you hold it in your hands. Solid metal construction the keyboard will never move at all. 10 / 10 for quality. The sound dampening is amazing, my key caps finally sound like they should with a thucky feed back, is simply want to type while on this keyboard, i don't want to stop. It's a pleasure. The sound is like a constant satisfying music to my ears. Get these switches with these keyboard, it has very low actuation and you feel like you are typing on air. FOR linear switches use this Gateron G Speed Silver Pro 3.0 Pre-lubed Switches 5pin Linear for MX Mechanical Type Key Gaming K FOR clicky switches use this LTC Kailh x Box Switches White for Mechanical Gaming Keyboard What i do is actually use both, i use for all my regular typing linear switches and for all expressive buttons such as ctrl enter alt etc... i use clicky owl switches, it gives you that very smooth typing but also nice clicky actuation when pressing other buttons such as enter, i can't describe how nice it feels to do that and finally have the keyboard of my dreams with combination of switches, this is a perfect match.

A great balance between, simplicity, functionality, and form
This keyboard has a lot of positives going for it especially for people who want to start branching out beyond the entry level point of custom/DIY keyboards but aren’t sure where to go with it. The build is very sturdy, heavy, and sleek overall and has a premium feel to it. The hot-swap sockets makes it nice to test out different switches without having to learn or clean up from soldering, and they are 5 pin sockets so You don’t have to manipulate most switches to fit them in. It functions fine without the Glorious Software but that is an option for further customization of the board with its RGB, macros, and keybinding. The sound of the board when typing feels full, there’s no metallic twang or reverberation because of the dampening material. The only thing I want to nitpick about it is the usb-c cable being a little finicky after a few months of use but that could be a user error. Not totally sure. But I planned on getting a custom cable anyway.

Calidad Excelente
De verdad que se nota la calidad de esta Base / Case , muy premium. He estado probando por varios días con los demás complementos de la marca y todo muy bien. Lo único malo que podria decir , es que es muy pesado pero mucho. Lo recomiendo ? si lo recomiendo.

Great with some caveats
Was able to get the GMMK pro on a good sale and I am very satisfied with the board, it is sturdy, heavy, and the machining is fair for the price. Straight out of the box, the factory pre lubed stabilizers are quite low quality, being very very rattly while also being drenched in lube which is overkill and makes a mess. Additionally, the sound dial is nice, however, the button itself does not sit flush in the stem and requires to be stuffed with some sort of tape or cotton to reduce rattling. I would say if you’re able to get it on sale, it’s still a bang for your buck! A great entry into the keyboard modification world that isn’t a lower end budget board.

NOT Glorious at all.
First one I received was DOA, second one I order, one of the RGBs doesnt work. The Glorious Core software is terrible - it doesnt even load on Windows 11 after installation - you have to restart your PC or download the old legacy version which fails at updating the firmware. It's a shame as the keyboard feels and looks solid, but the quality control and engineering is non existent in this company it seems. Look elsewhere. Wont be returning to this brand anymore. Too much of a hassle. To think my local store is charging $240+tax CAD for this is highway robbery. Good luck!
