Does Amazon sell cable for sw update for transmitter (windows laptop) ? Tx

Yes. SPMA3065 is the spectrum part number

With the dxs, can you do advance programming and save your different plane setup to your pc or mobile device (iphone) to upload and download?

These have programmable trims and reversible channels, but no advanced forward programming. The models can be saved through a PC with optional USB Programming Cable and USB Programmer (available separately)

Can this be used with the e-flite a-10 umx 30mm?

That’s an old plane but as long as it has a Spektrum DSM receiver, it will work fine.

Can you use it for a RC twin otter

Yes it would work, BUT if your planning on staying with it and buying other planes I would suggest looking at the Nx6 or Nx8. Yes more money but also alot more room for growth and more options on the radio themselves.
