About how long does it take to charge? Also, does the red light turn off when it is fully charged or is it always red while charging and turned off?

This rechargeable touch light is with 500mAh battery built-in. Charging time is around 1 to 1.5 hours with standard mobile charger. Red light indicating while charging, red light turns OFF after being fully charged.

Indoor wireless use only. For ensuring or protecting the built-in battery capacity, please disconnect the light from the power sources after being fully charged.

For your safety, if you are using mobile charger to charge this touch light, please use qualified mobile charger to charge.

Can you leave it plugged in after full charge? I want a light to use in the bedroom or bathroom if the power goes out.

Fox example, you could use your mobile phone while charging for a short while in need sometimes, but, the mobile phones are not recommended to use in this way, same as this touch light.## For the light you need to use in bedroom, if you need a night light, we think this touch light would be perfect for you, This LED night light is perfect to be as bedside lamp for kids and adults, decorative mood light to create a enjoyable, romantic, leisure and cozy atmosphere, baby nursery night light. How long does this product last?

This rechargeable touch light is with 500mAh battery built-in. Charging time around 1 to 1.5 hours with standard mobile charger. Red light indicating while charging, red light OFF after fully charged. And after fully charged, normally, if in highest brightness level, around 2.5 to 3 hours continuous lighting is applicable, in medium brightness level, around 10 hours continuous lighting, and if in lowest lighting level, then the light will last for around 24 hours continuously more or less.

The above data is based on CONTINUOUS LIGHTING.

And if you do not use it for continuous lighting for very long time, just use it for night time or temporary lighting convenience, for example, get up in the middle of the night to go to washroom, baby caring, kids room bedside lamp as sleeping partner, closet cabinet dark areas lighting, etc., then it could be very long time before needing a charge, some customers said it even stays charged for months in this regard.

This touch light is designed for night time convenience normally or temporary lighting convenience, such as diaper changing, breastfeeding, seniors bedside lamps, kids room light, etc, lighted up for some hours is ok, however for very long time continuous lighting or full night lighting, we would like to recommend to use AC outlet Plug-in night lamps, then that would not be worries of running out batteries.

How do you all feel about buying this as travem nightlight for vacations with our children? Will it stay lit up all night and charge during the day?

Yes, it will. Mine stays lit for an entire night or two on dim, possibly longer, but I charge it so I never find out how much longer. Tap top center to turn on/off, press and hold same spot to adjust brightness less/more.
