HDMI Cable for Original Xbox 360 Console, Xbox 360 to HDMI Aadapter HD Converter with Component Signal Output (Better Image)

Worked perfectly as soon as we hooked it up had no issues.

This converter is extremely good if you have a TV (i used this on a Roku TV which from the beginning had only composite AV cables (3 AV cables) (and never had HDMI support for those) Anyway basically this HDMI converter is better than those AV upscale HDMI converters I used in the past those never unlocked HDMI settings and made the screen rather blurry. This HDMI converter replaces AV cables since it literally is a HDMI TO HDMI connection and also does not need a power supply so you just basically plug one end into your xbox 360s HDMI/AV port and plug the other end which is your generic HDMI cable into your TVs HDMI input. After that you turn on your Xbox 360 and put the TV to the right CHANNEL/INPUT (mine for Roku was just called HDMI) and you go to your SYSTEM settings on Xbox 360 and go to DISPLAY and go to HDMI settings (the option will not be greyed out since this converter unlocks HDMI settings like i previously mentioned) You can then have crystal clear quality. ONE MINOR WARNING ABOUT THIS CONVERTER THO: The converter does kinda get warm so please take caution if your converter is near flammable surfaces and put it up high somewhere so it don't start a fire but the converter itself won't overheat and break so thats a good thing.

This cable works great and was reasonably priced, my dying 360 lives to have yet another Rockband night. Sound and picture are crisp with the only "gotcha" being to make sure it's pushed in all the way because this thing is toight!

A perfect cable to hook up a XBox 360 to a TV with only hdmi ports

I bought this for my son to hook up our old (original) xbox 360 to a new tv that only has hdmi inputs. Let me start out by saying that it works as it should as long as you have it seated all the way in. You have to push very hard to get it the whole way in. With that said, no issues once you have it in correctly. The reason I mention that it need pressed in the whole way is that my son thought it was in the whole way at first (he thought so because it is an incredibly tight fit), and when he turned the xbox on, it red-ringed. After googling our particular symptoms and finding that the full red ring was from "no AV cable detected", we found how to reset the red ring (hold the sync button, then power on while continuing to hold the sync button) we tried again. We found that as long as the cable is pushed in all the way, it works fine but ours took an excessive amount of force to seat properly, so make sure you push that sucker in before you power your xbox on!

perfect drop in replacement over using the original component av cable, as it does output a true 1080p HD picture, even my og xbox 360 xenon (from 2005), recognizes it and allows you to change the resolution up. the adapter is pretty short, but does come with a lengthy cord. my adapter fit nice in the actual xbox, just make sure to slowly wiggle the adapter out to prevent damaging the av port. very much worth the price

I’ve previously bought a replacement RCA cable replacement, NOT great once so ever, so I bought this instead, it fits amazing into the Xbox, I’ve experienced no lag, and bc it’s requires a micro charger to stay plugged in to use it, it upscales the resolution to match hdmi specs and not the rca cable which is a massive plus

Bought a new TV without composite / component inputs. This device allows me to connect my old Xbox via HDMI. Just make to sure you get the Xbox adapter plugged in tightly. I originally got a red ring of death and freaked out. But it worked once I reconnected it.

Image quality is really great and the video output supports the maximum the xbox 360 can output with 1080p resolution. It is a REAL pity though they didn't include the optical cable entry to this adapter to get 5.1 dolby sound out of it... So you can only get simple stereo out of it... If you have a 5.1 system attached to it is a real pity! I unluckily didn't find any other HDMI adapter on Amazon, which supports 5.1 for the xbox 360...

Something that actually works for a change! I tried multiple different adapters to get my Xbox 360 to work on a new TV. The TV didn’t have AV ports like the Xbox 360 uses, so it meant buying a converter cable. This fit perfectly into the 360, didn’t need an extra power source like a lot of converters do, and was plug and play. My kids couldn’t use the split screen mode for minecraft on our old TV because the resolution wasn’t high enough. That TV broke, so our new one had high enough resolution and this converter meant the kids could use split screen on minecraft - very happy kiddies! It’s expensive for what it is, but it works perfectly, so I’m happy.

Works as described with no issues. Even comes with instructions on how to adjust the settings within the Xbox to improve the resolution.
