Plant-Based Cat Litter Poop Waste Pick-Up Bags with Handles - 50 Bags - 8 in x 16 in

I have 8 cats inside, do 9 litter boxes twice a day and care for 7 ferals outside. I pick up the backyard a few times a week (some use the woods, I let nature handle that). So far, I have used one bag each day for all the litter cleanups inside and have no problem fitting it in. The bags are thin but sturdy enough that they do not leak or rip. I also use one each time I clean the yard, no problem there either. I tried these out because they are so economical and love them because they really are a good size and are not hurting the environment. It is a win-win!

I love that they're compostable as I realized how much plastic I was using. They are sturdy & I was able to scoop multiple days worth in it without it smelling up the room. I am disappointed in the description of the size though as the bag itself is only 12 inches tall, the handles make up the other 4 to get to 16. I was hoping this would fit in the disposal system canister I bought instead of having to use those refills & this won't. Still a good bag to use on it's own though.

I bought these because I wanted something biodegradable and these work for that purpose. However one thing that is difficult is getting the litter in the bag as they are a bit narrow. So I have a little trouble with that but now I have adapted.

I have purchased these compostable cat litter bags a couple of times, so have used well over 100 bags. They are very sturdy and can hold a lot of cat waste scooped from the cat box.. It is important to me to use compostable bags to dispose of the cat waste that goes in the garbage rather than using plastic bags.Here's a tidbit I found online: It takes 1,000 years for a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill. Unfortunately, plastic bags don't break down completely but instead photo-degrade, becoming microplastics that absorb toxins and continue to pollute the environment. THIS IS VERY POWERFUL! Can you see why I don't use plastic bags?!I am environmentally conscious and try to recycle everything I can. I did some research and found cat litter that is compostable and biodegradable rather than using litter that has to be put in the garbage. I contacted my solid waste/recycling center and asked if I scooped the cat waste and put it in the garbage could I put the rest of the compostable cat litter in these green compostable bags and put them in my compost bin. They said YES, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA! So I've found 2 uses for these sturdy compostable bags. It makes me feel good knowing I am doing things to protect the environment!

These plant-based kitty litter bags are great. I have been using them for the last year and will get them again.

We like the previous, larger size of these bags, which are now unavailable. These are way too small for a multiple-cat household and too hard to get the scoop into to drop in the litter. The other ones degraded too quickly and were prone to tears as it is, but these are way too small to be used for anything but picking up dog poo on a walk.
