If power off between uses in rv must the wally be set up each time? or does it remember its set up configuration forever?

In the instances when we have lost power our Wally had to go back through the set up. Frustrating because sometimes it takes several minutes to reconnect and it doesn't remember the station you were on. But if you just turn it off it remembers the station you wrer on when you turn it back on.
