Awesome!
The tone generator is very useful for attaching to speaker wires and verifying the speakers in the car. I had already installed the speakers in the doors and I didn't want to take the panels off. That's the intended purpose of the tone generator it's not for setting gains. Used this to bypass the factory amp. Wish I had this earlier. Great product and easy to use!

Speaker tester works good
Works but why didn't they put a power of button? None the less it got the job done.

Great tool for very little money
If you are an installer, this is a must have. Works great and it is very inexpensive. Just use common sense when sending the signal out to speakers (correct frequencies is a must when sending a signal to a tweeter as an example) And always start with the volume low and work your way up if necessary.

Nice tool
This is a very neat tool. You cannot depend on it to verify the proper operation of a sub. As it turns out, a blown sub will still emit the sounds.

You NEED this product if you work on automotive audio. Easy to Diagnose speakers, amplifiers subwoofers anything! Easy to use and built very well.

Works fine, but don’t use the test tones
The speaker “pop” function works fine, just like if you were to touch the pos and neg wires to a 12V battery and testing the polarity if the speaker, and this makes that much easier to accomplish. But, I would not recommend using the test tones as they are pretty rough and distorted, but they are functional to quickly identify which speaker wires go to what speaker, but not much more than just that. You get what you pay for here, but it is quite sub-par honestly. Oh, and just use it for the pos-neg leads, the RCA’s don’t really work great and I wouldn’t feel comfortable feeding a signal like what comes out of this into an amplifier.

Any Audio enthusiast or professional should own one.
I first saw this being used by a professional car/marine audio installer. I felt that I needed to get one. It’s a great tool to test and troubleshoot and audio system. Speakers can be tested directly, it can also be used to test amplifiers, cables are other components. Any audio professional or enthusiast should own one.
