Someone have rough estimate of the actual read/write speeds on this drive based on use? genuinely comparable to product description of 70read/5write?

I bought it hoping for fast writing (usb 3.0 is capable of 5GBps), however I missed the description which indicates this is 5MB/second for writing, and therefore no faster than a usb 2.0 drive for adding data.

Is this a FAT32 formatted drive?

You can format either as NTFS or FAT32. It’s not preformatted

I was going to use these for audio books. they play on the computer but not on my urec7. changed format, no help, ideas??

The thumb drives are not as advertised. They are 2.0. Not sure why it doesn’t work for what you are doing. Have you tried formatting and using a different file system?
