I was given this exact brace at the Ortho clinic and wanted a second brace for backup. Good build quality and easy to use. Good support for you thumb and it also adds some cushion if you bump your injured thumb. As I heal I like to wear it a gentle reminder to take it easy when working.

After purchasing one for my left hand a couple of years ago, my right hand started acting up. These braces allow me to comfortably pick up and carry a lot of weight. I always wear these when I am caring for my granddaughter. I highly recommend them.

When these are new, they work very well. But they age, and quickly. Their Velcro wears out too quickly. In order to use this device, you must wear it fairly tight, which puts stress on the Velcro. I don't know if this is inevitable or they need to use an even stronger material, but it looses its grip, and you're forced to buy a new one. At least that's what I've done. The more you need it, the more you use it, the more you'll need another "fresh Velcro" one. Also, it all seems to wear too quickly. So yes, it's good and it works, but get ready to buy a few if you have to use it much!
