Game changer
This chair was a game changer for me. I had a previous hip injury. My muscles were weak from the time it took for the injury to heal. The split seat keeps pressure of my spine L5/S1 the back support keeps me from slouching. I had a saddle stool before without any back support and found no matter how hard I tried after a couple hours I would find myself slouching unintentionally. This chair has given me the support I need and keeps me lined up. Only complaint though as others have said the cushion is hard and a bit lacking. But I look at it this way. If you have a sit down job you are supposed to get up and move every so often. This chair makes me move or even use my stand up desk option it does me good

Solid
This is a nice and sturdy chair. But where the center of the seat is raised and comes to points is so hard. It is a small surface area that hits right in the crease of the leg/crotch where it is just thin skin, and there was no way I tried that made it bearable. I ignored a review that pointed this out but was unbothered as I have a regular wood chair that is no problem to sit on all day. This is not the same. It did definitely relieve my hip pain though! Just was not worth the crotch pain.

Comfy and affordable
This is a great chair for the price. You can buy other versions of this chair for well over $1000. This one hit the price point and is very comfortable. I use it every day as a dental hygienist and my backside thanks me.

VERY HARD SEAT
The build quality has some issues - one of the holes for the casters was badly formed, though I was able to use some pliers to open it up enough to use the caster. Also, the backrest doesn't hold that well - could be done a bit better. But the worst part is the seat is HARD. I have another Master chair, the one with the large cushy seat. But I wanted to alleviate the pressure that sitting for long periods of time causes, so wanted this split seat option. I will be getting a gel pad to put where my sit bones go to hopefully alleviate the hardness. But be aware it is VERY HARD on the sit bones. It does take the pressure off the central area, though, if that is needed! I also wish the tilt went further back - that might help as well, but it mostly tilts forward. The back rest is helpful when sitting for long periods of time.

Excellent Quality
This is an excellent chair. The quality was very nice and the chair was well designed. It unfortunately, did not work for my particular problem, but I think it might be an excellent choice for a person with tailbone pain. (Coccyx’s pain, levator ani syndrome, etc)

I bought this to scoot around when my legs can’t continue standing. It scoots well. I like that you can adjust the back rest, if the saddle tips and how much or leave it “free floating” and up and down work quickly so I can adapt to what I need height wise. It also keeps my hips aligned and doesn’t take up a lot of real estate in the office.

I disregarded a customer's comment about the firmness of the seat. They were accurate, it may cause numbness in the groin if you sit for an extended period. It's a great concept, but the pads could have a better cushion material.

This stool is an absolute nightmare. The configuration of the "two split part seat" is NOT ergonomic. As noted by other reviewers it is impossible to find a position or setting that is comfortable or healthy. While the range of "adjustments" provided sounds great, the seat elements themselves exert undue (and unhealthy) pressure, either on your privates, your public rami, or ischial tuberosities. The seat does not allow any adjustment for a normal back curvature. I am a highly trained health care professional, and I know what I am talking about. Do not expect this item to be something that will in any way contribute to good posture, health, or well-being. In fact quite the opposite.

This would be a 5 star review If the back stayed up

I like the chair, good quality. It does take a bit to get used to, kind of like riding a bike or a horse - can’t do that all day right from the start. Im a few weeks in now and can comfortably sit longer but I switch between it and standing, working well and l have less hip/lower back discomfort now.
