This will be the first review I've ever written but I thought it was necessary because I see no mention of this important piece of information anywhere here. This product is ONLY compatible with the V1 version of PS5 controllers or BDM-010, it is NOT compatible with the V2 version or BDM-020! Make sure to check online to tell which version of the controller you own. The L1 connector pins on the L1/L2 ribbon go into the slot in the opposite direction on the V2 controller therefore if you insert the ribbon as intended it will be in the wrong way and won't work. Your controller will shut off and be unable to turn on until you remove the ribbon from the slot. Unfortunately, it seems most of the replacement ribbons sold (at least on Amazon) are only for the V1 controllers. I manage to make this purchase work regardless by bending the ribbon so that it can be inserted in the opposite (correct) position. It was not an easy task. Just thought I would let others know before blindly purchasing this like me without knowledge of the different compatibility because this product makes no effort to say as much.
